235 Retired Military Leaders Pen Letter Endorsing Trump For President; What It Says Is Powerful

(Tea Party PAC) – It seems the left-wing media and those in the Democratic Party who are desperate to see former Vice President Joe Biden sitting in the White House come January are sinking to all sorts of lows in order to try and persuade folks not to vote for Trump this November, including concocting narratives to try and make it seem as if the president hates the military.

In response to that narrative, a joint letter was crafted by 235 retired military leaders expressing why they were casting their vote for him this year, and what it had to say is powerful.

Folks, these voices really matter, so pay attention.

Via American Military News:

“The 2020 election affords the American people an urgently needed opportunity to affirm their devotion to the Constitution of the United States and to the American way of life. As senior leaders of America’s military, we took an oath to defend the United States from all enemies, foreign and domestic. At present, our country is now confronted with enemies here and abroad, as well as a once in a century pandemic,” the letter says. “As retired military officers, we believe that Donald J. Trump has been tested as few other presidents have and is the proven leader to confront these dangers.”

The letter, which is signed by eight four-star generals/admirals, 42 three-star generals/admirals, goes on to call the 2020 presidential election the most important since the United States’ inception. It names off threats such as socialism and Marxism, and defense spending cuts as some of the most detrimental to Americans’ security and way of life.

“The Democrats’ opposition to border security, their pledge to return to the disastrous Iran nuclear deal, their antagonism towards the police and planned cuts to military spending will leave the United States more vulnerable to foreign enemies,” the letter says.

“The proposed defense cuts by the Democrats will, in our professional judgment, create a potentially perilous situation for the United States during a time of great external and internal threats to our Nation,” the letter adds.

The letter puts Biden on blast, criticizing the former vice president and former President Barack Obama for doing a lot of damage to our country’s military strength through “a series of ill-considered and debilitating budget cuts” during the time the pair were in office.

“For these reasons, we support Donald Trump’s re-election. We believe that President Donald Trump is committed to a strong America. As president, he will continue to secure our borders, defeat our adversaries, and restore law and order domestically,” the letter says. “We urge our fellow Americans to join us in supporting the re-election of Donald Trump for President.”

The men and women who make up the armed forces in our country are some of the most important voices that need to be heard. It’s these individuals who willingly put their lives on the line in order to try and preserve our way of life from the enemies, both foreign and domestic, who desire to see it destroyed.

Who better to listen to when it comes to deciding whether or not Trump is a friend of veterans or not, than those who have served before?

  1. Dems are the Enemies mentioned in the The oaths of office about protecting the U.S. Constitution from enemies both Foreign and ‘Domestic’!

  2. The 8 comments above in no way address the article … shilling for an on-line job doesn’t apply to what these generals/admirals are doing in their support of President Trump. As a retired U.S. Army Captain of the Adjutant General Corps, late of the Infantry and, prior service enlisted from both the U.S. Coast Guard and the Army, I’ll add my endorsement as well! Being company grade, I worked for a living and can see what the president does daily to keep all of us as safe, secure and prosperous as possible.
