Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez To Foul-Mouthed Rashida Tlaib: “I Got Your Back”

(Tea Party PAC) – The radical, crazy new Democrats sure are shaking things up in Washington, though more by just saying lots of crazy things than actually affecting policy.

Socialist darling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) defended fellow congresswoman Rashida Tlaib’s (D-MI) reference to the President as a “motherf*cker” on Saturday, claiming the response has been “faux outrage” on the part of Republicans.

“Republican hypocrisy at its finest: saying that Trump admitting to sexual assault on tape is just ‘locker room talk,’ but scandalizing themselves into faux-outrage when my sis says a curse word in a bar,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on Twitter, referencing the infamous Access Hollywood tape, in which the then-reality star made a lewd comment about women.

“GOP lost entitlement to policing women’s behavior a long time ago. Next,” she added.

She added in a second tweet to Tlaib “I got your back.”

Tlaib told a crowd of progressives in Washington DC last week that the Democrats were going to “impeach the motherfucker,” which was met by criticism from Republicans, including House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and President Trump himself.

What Ocasio-Cortez is conveniently ignoring, however, is that top Democrats also criticized Tlaib’s language.

“I don’t like that language. I wouldn’t use that language,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said of Tlaib’s comments on MSNBC over the weekend. She added that the remark was “not the position of the Democratic caucus” in regards to impeachment. “I think it probably consolidates his [President Trump’s] base, but I don’t think it needs much consolidation,” she added.

On Friday, Tlaib doubled-down on her comments, telling WDIV Local 4 in Detroit that President Trump “has met his match” and “he’s just going to have to deal” with it. “I’ve always been this way. No one expects me to be anything but myself. The girl from Southwest Detroit. The little sass and attitude,” she elaborated. “I think President Trump has met his match. I don’t like bullies. I go after them the same way they go after us. And he’s just going to have to deal.”

“I stand by impeaching the president of the United States. I ran on that,” she added. “I very much hold dearly that I want to impeach this president.”
