(Tea Party PAC) – As newly elected Presidents take their place in the White House it has become customary that they hold a press conference for the American people. These press conferences are typically held within the first 33 days of taking office, at least that’s how it has happened in the last 100 years. Where is Biden’s press conference? It’s been 45 days and counting…
Stephen Bannon, former White House aide to Trump, discussed his concern over this during one of his recent “War Room Pandemic” podcasts. During press conferences the media get to pepper the President with questions but Bannon is pointing out that Biden “can’t take questions,” and continuing on to then say, as president, Biden has “the nuclear codes.”
Bannon then proceeded to run a clip from this past Wednesday when a White House feed was suddenly cut right after Biden said he was “happy to take questions” from some Democratic lawmakers. The administration offered no explanation of why the feed was so promptly cut.
The natural reaction of many watching this clip was laughter but Bannon was quick to respond saying, “It’s not funny, this is serious.” He then added, “He’s got the nuclear codes. Last night, he’s sitting there, clearly looking like he’s not with the program, he says, ‘I’ll take questions, I’m supposed to take questions,’ and boom! Hard stop.”
Raheem Kassam, former editor-in-chief of Breitbart News London, discussed this issue with Bannon during the podcast. They shared many of the same viewpoints about the Biden White House being little more than “theater” and noting that even some of the leftist media is starting to see some questionable things taking place.
Take for instance Jake Tapper, CNN anchor. He went to Twitter to share his own ponderings about the time that has passed without Biden taking questions from reporters.
“@Kevinliptakcnn notes that an analysis of the past 100 years shows President Biden’s 15 most recent predecessors all held a formal solo press conference within 33 days of taking office. Biden has not and it’s day 42.” This was tweeted on March 3, 2021.
Let’s take a look at his predecessors for a moment. It took Donald Trump 28 days, Barak Obama 21 days, and George W. Bush 34 days to take questions from the press, this according to Fox News.
During a visit to Texas last week, Biden appeared confused and was having an exceptionally hard time when trying to recall the names of officials who were there with him. He completely messed up when he mistakenly called Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) “Shirley” instead.
Bannon also pointed out that Biden has yet to deliver his State of the Union address and he says it’s because “Joe Biden can’t stand up there and give a State of the Union. That’s what it’s all about.”
Many concerns were shared about Joe Biden’s cognitive ability while he was campaigning and it appears that those concerns are proving to be legitimate. These next weeks and months will be something to pay attention to.
