(Tea Party PAC) – As if it wasn’t bad enough already that several American cities are descending into chaos, divider-in-chief Barack Obama just came along and dumped gasoline all over the fire.
Although Obama was the first black president in our nation’s history, his presidency saw record-high racial tensions and division over issues of race.
While our nation had been steadily progressing since the time of the Civil Rights movement, an era of committed peaceful protest and productive legislative action, Obama sent us back decades with his highly inflammatory rhetoric on race.
The media was more than happy to run cover for him, too, constantly fanning the flames of racial outrage just as they are today.
Now, interestingly enough four years since race riots were a regular fixture of the evening news, our nation is once again facing outrage over the killing of a black man at the hands of police.
But while the majority of people agree that George Floyd, who perished in police custody after an officer held his knee against the back of his neck for seven full minutes, deserves justice, the same old divisive characters are out on the streets inciting violence.
While all respect is due to the genuinely peaceful activists who have gathered to call for justice, Antifa and other radicals and agitators are encouraging the destruction of private property, looting, vandalism, and even assault.
Enter Barack Obama
“I want to share parts of the conversations I’ve had with friends over the past couple days about the footage of George Floyd dying face down on the street under the knee of a police officer in Minnesota,” Obama said.
“[We] have to remember that for millions of Americans, being treated differently on account of race is tragically, painfully, maddeningly ‘normal’ – whether it’s while dealing with the health care system, or interacting with the criminal justice system, or jogging down the street, or just watching birds in a park,” Obama said.
He continued, “This shouldn’t be ‘normal’ in 2020 America. It can’t be ‘normal.’ If we want our children to grow up in a nation that lives up to its highest ideals, we can and must be better.”

What shouldn’t be “normal” is having to deploy the National Guard on American streets to prevent further loss of property and life.
But does he denounce the rioters? No!
