(Tea Party PAC) – Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian (pictured above) issued a very sinister threat to the Five Eyes intelligence group, which is an international intelligence sharing block that is made up of the UK, the United States, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia, after they shared their disapproval of Beijing disqualifying four opposition leaders belonging to the Hong Kong Legislative Council.
Hey, the man’s a communist, working for a communist regime. Is the fact he’s issuing a threat against some of the most important nations in the world really that much of a surprise? Commies are sort of known for their inability to accept criticism without responding with violence.
“No matter how many ‘eyes’ you have, be careful not to be poked and get blind by harming China’s sovereignty, security and development interests,” Zhao threatened.
According to Breitbart, LegCo, on November 11, a totally pro-China organization, booted four opposition members from the group using a measure that was imposed under Beijing, that enables local government to remove legislators if they “support Hong Kong’s independence or refuse to acknowledge China’s sovereignty over the city.”
Here’s the kicker. You don’t need to have a trial in order to remove people from the group.
The Civic Party members who were given their pink slips were Alivn Yeun Ngkok-kiu, Kwok Ka-Ki, and Dennis Kwok Wing-hang, and Kenneth Leung Kai’cheong of the Professionals Guild.
These individuals not only lost their seats in LegCo, but now they aren’t allowed to run for office in the next election either. That election has actually been postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Five Eyes group wants LegCo to reinstate the removed leaders, which is what sparked the threat from Zhao, who clearly doesn’t care for the intelligence organization making comments on its business.
There has been a movement brewing in Hong Kong for a while now, composed of young people who are craving the same kind of liberty we enjoy here in the United States. In fact, at one point, protesters were in the streets holding up American flags and singing our national anthem.
Folks, this is why we fight so hard to conserve our Constitution and the liberties we enjoy. We are a beacon of hope to the rest of the world. We need to keep it that way.
In China, you are expected to stay in lockstep with the Chinese Communist Party ideology or you are considered an enemy of the state. You have no freedom to think for yourself or to speak your mind. You cannot criticize your government without dire consequences.
This should make us all thankful we live in the U.S.
