Fightin’ Words: Iran’s President Rouhani On Trump White House: “Afflicted By Mental Retardation”

(Tea Party PAC) – I’m sorry, did our conflict with the terror-funding Islamic nation of Iran just get reduced to Middle School insults?

They must think Obama is still in office.

On Tuesday, Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani threw insults at President Trump and his White House, saying they are “afflicted by mental retardation.”

These comments came during a live television address following the Trump administration’s implementation of harsh sanctions against Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and several other leaders in the nation, according to AP.

Trump did not immediately respond to Rouhani’s insults, which were not the first from the leader.

In 2017, Ali Khamenei called Trump “foul-mouthed”, uttering “nonsense,” and “suffering from retardation”.

“The President of the United States displays nonsense; however, this should not lead us to ignore the mischief of the U.S. regime,” Khamenei said while speaking to a group of students, later taking to Twitter to expand on these insults.

Trump did hit back at Rouhani later on Tuesday in a series of tweets:
