First Ukraine Phone Call Transcript Released. Here’s What It Says.

(Tea Party PAC) – As the media got themselves whipped up in a tizzy over former US ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yavonovitch’s testimony before the House Intelligence Committee on Friday, President Trump dropped the transcript of his first call between himself and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The transcript was released as the hearing began.

The contents of the call did much to reveal how perfectly innocent the relationship between the two leaders was.

In the call, Trump congratulated Zelensky for his impressive win and they discussed visiting one another’s nations.

Trump commented on when he had owned the Miss Universe beauty pageant that Ukraine “always had great people” and was “always well represented.”

Zelensky, a political outsider who ran on an anti-corruption platform much like Trump, said he’d like to practice his English so they could speak to one another in the same language.

Trump seemed pleased to hear this.

“That’s beautiful to hear,” Trump said. “That’s really good. I could not do that in your language.”
