(Tea Party PAC) – Not only has Raffensperger refused to conduct any kind of legitimate investigation into the 2020 election in Georgia, he is now going after President Trump over a phone call between the two that Raffensperger leaked.
It’s one thing when Democrats go after a Republican president when he has left office, it’s quite another to see a supposed Republican going after Trump, especially now that he is a private citizen.
Raffensperger, however, has never shown any inkling of loyalty to the Republican Party and especially not to President Trump.
He has allowed blatant election fraud on his watch and has also refused to investigate it. He is basically a Democratic operative and his role was vital to the stealing of Georgia, a state that Trump easily won.
On Monday, Raffensperger launched an investigation into Trump on allegations that Trump pressured him to “find” votes for him so that he could win the state.
Raffensperger spokesman, Walter Jones, asserted that the “administrative” action is justified because Raffensperger’s office regularly looks into complaints that have been made.
Jones stated that the investigations conducted by the Secretary of State’s office are “fact-finding and administrative in nature” and said that legal action would be up to the attorney general.
Interestingly, Raffensperger’s office didn’t care to investigate complaints about the 2020 election.
Walter Jones, spokesperson for Sec. of Raffensperger told CNN in a written statement “The Sec of State’s office investigates complaints it receives. The investigations are fact-finding & administrative in nature. Any further legal efforts will be left to the Attorney General.”

According to NBC News, the Georgia AG’s office did not provide a response to a request for comment. They also reported that once the investigation is completed, the findings will be passed on to the State Election Board which is chaired by Raffensperger.
At that point, the board can either dismiss the case, reprimand Trump and refer the case to prosecutors.
The investigation was prompted by a complaint made by George Washington University law professor John Banzhaf III, in which he cited the case initiation document provided by Raffensperger’s office, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The basis of the case is the January 2 phone call between Raffensperger and Trump during which attorney’s for both sides were also present.
The claims against Trump are that he pushed Raffensperger to “find votes” for him but in reality, he was urging Raffensperger to do his job, and the right thing, and conduct a signature audit and look into the claims of voter fraud.
“All I want to do is this: I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have. Because we won the state,” the Trump told Raffensperger on the call.
Trump also pointed out to Raffensperger that his behavior was criminal since he knows what “they” did and by not reporting the fraud Raffensperger is also guilty of a criminal offense.
Trump senior adviser Jason Miller appeared not to have any concerns over the call or the investigation.
“There was nothing improper or untoward about a scheduled call between President Trump, Secretary Raffensperger and lawyers on both sides,” the statement read. “If Mr. Raffensperger didn’t want to receive calls about the election, he shouldn’t have run for Secretary of State. And the only reason the call became public was because Mr. Raffensperger leaked it in an attempt to score political points.”

Raffensperger is an establishment swamp creature hiding in Georgia. He has stood in the way of election fraud investigations and now he’s investigating President Trump for simply requesting he do his job and investigate the fraud.
Despite the fact that Raffensperger said last month that it’s unlikely his office would investigate Trump’s phone call, which he likely leaked himself, here we are.
