(Tea Party PAC) – Anti-America, Muslim congresswoman, Ilhan Omar, became deeply offended by a question at the Muslim Caucus Education Collective’s 2019 Conference. Fellow Muslim, Ani Zonneveld, President of Muslims for Progressive Values, asked Omar if she would condemn female genital mutilation. Instead of expressing disgust over the barbaric practice of female genital mutilation, she expressed disgust at the “appalling” question. Apparently it’s appalling and unfathomable to be concerned over whether or not a Muslim lawmaker supports female genital mutilation.
Omar insisted that other non-Muslim lawmakers are not being asked these kinds of questions. Apparently she was not aware that she was at an event that was literally about being Muslim. If there were ever a setting for such a question, this would be it but Omar would rather make fellow Muslims feel guilty over such an inquiry, than simply answering the question.
“Should I make a schedule? Like, does this need to be on repeat every 5 minutes? Should I be like, ‘so, today I forgot to condemn Al-Qaeda, so here’s the Al-Qaeda one. Today I forgot to condemn FGM so here it goes. Today I forgot to condemn Hamas so here it goes.’ It is a very frustrating question that comes up. You can look up my record. I’ve voted for bills doing exactly what you are asking me to do,”
The problem is, Omar doesn’t actually ever come out and condemn any of those things. She pulls this song and dance around these kinds of questions every time. Just like she has done when asked to condemn Al-Qaeda and whether or not she married her brother. Instead of giving a straight answer, she gets indignant and attempts to shame the inquirer for asking such “appalling” questions. As if by saying that she shouldn’t have to actually condemn these things, she is somehow condemning them. At least that’s what she wants us to think.
Her outrage over being asked these things because she is a Muslim is laughable. Is she somehow unaware of the atrocities committed in the name of Islam on a daily basis? Somehow though, it is beyond her why anybody would want to ask her to condemn evil things associated with a religion she identifies with.
She went on to say that she is “quite disgusted to be honest that as Muslim legislators, we are constantly being asked to waste our time speaking to issues that other people are not asked to speak to because the assumption exists that we somehow support [it].” First of all, the question was asked by another Muslim and second of all, why wouldn’t the assumption exist? If she wants to be in the public spotlight and wants to represent Americans she ought to be prepared to express that she does not accept and agree with the vile and violent practices associated with Islam. She chooses not to do that, however, instead opting to put on some kind of faux outrage as if she shouldn’t have to.
Meanwhile, she and all of her Democratic colleagues have no problem forcing the President to constantly “waste time” speaking on issues that are irrelevant and inconsequential. Beating the Russian collusion dead horse over and over, insisting Trump should constantly defend himself from claims he is a racist, bigot, misogynist, homophobe, xenophobe, and every other “-ist” and “-phobe” out there. Funny how she feels entitled to the luxury of focusing on politics but the President of the United States should only be subjected to obstruction and harassment.
Omar’s refusal to answer these kinds of questions should be a red flag to voters in her district and to Americans everywhere. She is a radical Muslim and she is working to destroy America from within. Female genital mutilation is a serious problem for hundreds of thousands of Americans right here in the U.S. This ought not to be. Apparently Omar is more concerned about her own feelings rather than the devastating effects of this violent Islamic practice.
According to the CDC, at least 500,000 girls and women in the US have been subjected to the horrific custom, or are at risk of having it done to them. There are so many victims, and potential victims, in the US that the State Department released a video about the ritual in 2017 featuring American survivors.
