Iran Strikes Back For Soleimani Getting Axed, Launches Missiles At Two US Bases; Here Are The Details

(Tea Party PAC) – The nation of Iran seems to have grown foolishly bold in recent days, having plotted against American targets, a decision which led to the drone killing of one of their top generals, and now they’ve launched missile attacks on several US targets in Iraq as a response.

These folks don’t seem to understand who it is they are messing with. Do you really want to wake up the giant? That doesn’t seem like a very good plan, you know?

Here’s the skinny on what went down last night via Gateway Pundit:

A journalist from Iran’s Tasmin News Agnecy posted a photo of a missile launch with the translated caption, “Urgent /// Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim begins to avenge the firing of Iranian ballistic missiles at the Iraqi base in Iraq, which is home to US forces.”

Video claims to show launch (from a distance) of Iranian missiles, “The first film of Operation # Revenge”.

Translation of Fars News report (excerpt):

“According to a Fars News Agency defense correspondent, some news sources report heavy attacks by Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps aerial ballistic missiles on the US base in Iraq’s Ein al-Assad base.”

Longer version of video by Fars:

Fox’s Jennifer Griffin reports missiles launched by Iran at US all over Iraq.

“From senior US military source in Iraq: “Under missile attack from Iran. These are either cruise missiles or short range ballistic missiles. All over the country.”…I am told from US official these are short range ballistic or cruise missiles being fired from Iranian territory at multiple US bases and targets inside Iraq.”

BREAKING @ABC — A US official confirms to @ABC ballistic missiles have been fired from inside Iran at multiple US military facilities inside Iraq. Facilities include Erbil in N Iraq and Al Asad Air Base in W Iraq. —From ace Pentagon producers @LMartinezABC & @Elizabeth_McLau

Here’s more news on the attacks via CBS News:

Iran launched missile strikes late Tuesday against two Iraqi military bases housing U.S. forces in retaliation for the airstrike that killed Iranian General Qassem Soleimani last week. More than a dozen ballistic missiles targeted the Al Asad and Erbil military bases, the Pentagon said, and U.S. officials were assessing the damage.

It was still unclear early Wednesday morning whether there were any casualties, but in a tweet Tuesday night President Trump said: “All is well! Missiles launched from Iran at two military bases located in Iraq. Assessment of casualties & damages taking place now. So far, so good! We have the most powerful and well equipped military anywhere in the world, by far! I will be making a statement tomorrow morning.”

Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif defended Iran’s attack, tweeting that Tehran “took & concluded proportionate measures in self-defense.” He added that “we do not seek escalation or war, but will defend ourselves against any aggression.”

The Al Asad air base houses about 1,500 U.S. and coalition forces. The base was already on high-alert and recently paused its operations against ISIS to shift resources to prepare for a possible revenge attack by Iran.

Could this signal the beginning of a war with Iran? Well, if it does, then this is a war that’s been a long, long time in the making. Iran has been a thorn in the side of the entire world for decades. Scratch that. Replace “decades” with “millennia.”

It’s about time to send them a message to knock it off and remind them of their place on the world stage, which is practically non-existent. All of the people who are terrified of World War III need to relax. That’s not going to happen here. This is going to be a quick altercation and that’s that.

You don’t mess with the Stars and Stripes.

  1. Let Iran try that nonsense with the Israeli’s they will find out that they do not tolerate any nonsense whatsoever; Iran would find out the exact meaning of vengeance personified in real life.

  2. Do any of the mullah-heads have an explanation of how it is “aggression” to kill a person representing a rogue government that was BARRED from even BEING on Iraqi territory? Oh, yeah (/s), “peace mission”, secret like Rudolf Hess.
