(Tea Party PAC) – We all know that Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden isn’t necessarily playing with a full deck. That much has become painfully obvious over the last few months, what with all of the mumbling, rambling, and incoherent statements made during interviews and speeches, most of which were conducted from his basement during the coronavirus lockdown.
He’s also become notorious for getting vital pieces of information totally incorrect. Not just a little bit wrong, but way, way wrong. Like off in left field or outer space kind of wrong. And his latest spiel about the total deaths of military members from COVID-19 fits in that category.
Apparently, Biden thinks that the illness has killed 6,000 individuals serving in the armed forces. The actual number is 7. Let that sink in for a minute.
And people honestly can say with a straight face that they want this man in the Oval Office?
Via Daily Caller:
While speaking in Michigan on Wednesday, Biden significantly overstated both the number of COVID infections in the military, as well as the number of COVID deaths.
“Military COVID infected: 118,984,” Biden said while reading out a list of statistics. “Military COVID deaths: 6,114.”
Former Vice President Biden said today that more than 6,000 members of the US military have died due to the coronavirus. The actual number is seven according to the @DeptofDefense https://t.co/AJmCelSpOD

Both of those numbers are wrong.
It’s not clear where Biden got the erroneous numbers. His campaign didn’t immediately return the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment on the errors.
Again, this isn’t the first time that Joe has shot from the hip and made a total fool out of himself. Just recently he made the claim that a black man invented the light bulb, not Thomas Edison, a statement made as he chastised schools for not teaching accurate history.
Via Fox News:
“People fear that which is different. We’ve got to, for example, why in God’s name don’t we teach history in history classes? A Black man invented the light bulb, not a White guy named Edison,” Biden said. “There’s so much — did anybody know before what recently happened that Black Wall Street in Oklahoma was burned to the ground. Anybody know these things? Because we don’t teach them. We’ve got to give people facts.”
It was Edison who first invented the light bulb and a filament that could last 1,200 hours. According to the Department of Energy, Edison secured patents for the incandescent light bulb in 1879 and 1880. Biden was likely referring to Lewis Howard Latimer, who, according to a biography by MIT, patented an improved version of an incandescent light bulb in 1881 that could last even longer than Edison’s. For perspective, 1,200 hours is 50 days — far less time than modern incandescent bulbs last.
Latimer at the time worked for one of the companies competing with Edison’s. Latimer was a child of former slaves, a Union Navy veteran, a member of the National Inventors Hall of Fame and eventually the only Black member of the research team known as “Edison’s Pioneers,” according to MIT, after he began working with Edison in 1884.
But he was not the original inventor of the light bulb.
Latimer was also claimed by some to have been the original inventor of the telephone. But he said in court that it was, in fact, Alexander Graham Bell, according to MIT.
Now, add that to all the other times he’s said something as fact that wasn’t true and you have yourself a solid case for why Biden should be in a nursing home, not the White House.
This man has no idea what planet he is on and yet folks are using him to try and win this race against Trump. Seems like a setup to get Kamala Harris in the White House as commander-in-chief, doesn’t it?
