(Tea Party PAC) – Think of this as an extreme case of that whole “people in glass houses” proverb.
Katie Hill had a short-lived career in Congress after the Democrats managed to flip a congressional seat in CA blue after some questionable ballot harvesting practices but it turned out the candidate they managed to get elected was a promiscuous bed-hopper who couldn’t keep her hands off her staffers.
Yay women’s empowerment.
So Hill, who was busted for carrying on a “throuple” relationship with her estranged husband and one of her pretty young staffers after dumping them both to sleep with a different staffer altogether, was forced to resign in disgrace.
Don’t worry, she blamed right-wing conspiracy theories and #MeToo.
She also apparently thinks that her opinion still matters in American politics, pushing a conspiracy theory on Friday that President Donald Trump is trying to start a war with Iran to distract from the impeachment case which is soon headed towards a Republican-controlled Senate where he hasn’t the slightest chance of actual conviction.
“A lot of us have been wondering for a long time now if @realDonaldTrump was going to try to start a war to distract from impeachment,” she wrote in what she clearly believed was top-tier political commentary. “With his trial heading to the Senate imminently, we’ve got our answer, folks”:

On Friday, a US airstrike took out the top military general for Iran, Qasem Soleimani, who had directed terrorist proxies across the region and has been behind the death of thousands of innocents.
The Department of Defense confirmed that Soleimani “was actively developing plans to attack American diplomats and service members in Iraq and throughout the region.”
“This strike was aimed at deterring future Iranian attack plans,” the statement issued after the strike read. “The United States will continue to take all necessary action to protect our people and our interests wherever they are around the world.”
Trump defended the actions on Friday, saying, “Under my leadership, America’s policy is unambiguous to terrorists who harm or intend to harm any American. We will find you. We will eliminate you.”
“We will always protect our diplomats, service members, all Americans, and our allies,” he said.
“We took action last night to stop a war. We did not take action to start a war,” he added:

Meanwhile, Trump’s approval ratings stay steady and even grow under impeachment, and Hill’s absurd claim only serves to highlight their growing panic upon realizing that Trump might very well be untouchable.
