(Tea Party PAC) – Senator Kelly Loeffler of Georgia, who is running to keep her Senate seat in Tuesday’s closely-watched runoff election, has committed to objecting to the certification of the 2020 election results on Wednesday during a joint session of Congress to certify the Electoral College.
A dozen other Republican Senators have vowed to do the same, following the lead of now over 140 House Republicans who will be voicing their objection to the vote totals, triggering a floor debate in both chambers.
This will allow the GOP—those loyal to Trump, anyway, to lay out their case for why they believe the election gave Democrat Joe Biden a fraudulent win and why the state legislatures need to exercise their constitutional duty and decertify the votes.
“We must restore trust, confidence and integrity in our election system,” Loeffler said in her statement.
“Elections are the bedrock of our democracy and the American people deserve to be 100% confident in our election systems and its outcomes. But right now, tens of millions of Americans have real concerns about the way in which the November Presidential election was conducted—and I share their concerns,” the lawmaker told Fox News in a statement on Monday.
“The American people deserve a platform in Congress, permitted under the Constitution, to have election issues presented so that they can be addressed,” Loeffler continued.
“That’s why, on January 6th, I will vote to give President Trump and the American people the fair hearing they deserve and support the objection to the Electoral College certification process.”

Millions of American voters firmly believe that the election was rigged and that Joe Biden was not the legitimate winner.
It’s impossible to look at the enthusiastic crowd that Trump managed to attract to Georgia on Monday night to campaign for Loeffler and fellow Republican incumbent Senator, David Perdue, and honestly believe that a man who could barely get 12 people to form a car parade won the most votes of any candidate in U.S. history.
The fact is that this is not an autocracy run by a handful of establishment lawmakers who get to tell the people who we’ve voted for and how we’re going to determine the veracity of an election.
They work for us and the American people have spoke: it’s time for every single lawmaker in the federal and state governments to be truly honest with themselves about how important the integrity of our election systems is.
The legal mechanisms exist to contest these certified votes, even after Wednesday. What it’s going to take is a heck of a lot more lawmakers around the nation to have the courage that Loeffler and her patriotic peers in Congress have and object.
Let’s hope more of Loeffler’s GOP Senate colleagues join her before it’s too late.
