(Tea Party PAC) – Senator Lindsey Graham has become a very vocal supporter of President Trump over the last several years, despite the fact they were somewhat at each other’s throats in the 2016 presidential election.
Graham has seemed to be, at least in interviews, to be a defender of Trump against the onslaught of the Democrats who want to smear the president at every turn and remove him from office on bogus charges.
When it comes to the Russian collusion probe, Graham has promised to get to the bottom of the matter and try to find out where the whole thing started and who was really behind it. People have been waiting for quite some time for this promise to be fulfilled. It hasn’t yet.
However, it seems Graham is making yet another promise. He’s promised that he’s going to have every single person who signed the bogus Carter Page FISA warrants brought in to testify.
Here’s more from Gateway Pundit:
Senator Lindsey Graham, the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, joined Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures earlier today.
Graham promised Maria Bartiromo he will call in EVERY PERSON who signed the bogus Carter Page FISA Warrants.
The list includes:
• James Comey — Then-FBI Director James Comey signed the first three FISA applications on behalf of the FBI
• Andrew MCabe — Then-Deputy Director Andrew McCabe signed the fourth one
• Sally Yates — Then-DAG Sally Yates
• Dana Boente — then Acting DAG Dana Boente and
• Rod Rosenstein — DAG Rod Rosenstein signed one or more FISA applications on behalf of the DOJ, according to the FISA memo
Rosenstein and McCabe both signed the fourth FISA warrant along with Andrew McCabe.
Now Lindsey Graham must follow-up on this promise.
Here’s what Graham promised to do concerning the Russia probe back in May of 2019.
U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham in March predicted his GOP colleagues would be “enthusiastic” to investigate whether the Obama-era Justice Department tried to influence the 2016 election in favor of Democrat Hillary Clinton.
The South Carolina Republican saw his prediction come true on Wednesday, when Attorney General William Barr testified before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee.
The hearing was convened as an opportunity for lawmakers to question Barr about his interpretation of White House Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s lengthy report on whether President Donald Trump colluded with Russia during the 2016 campaign and sought to obstruct justice to thwart Mueller’s investigation.
But Graham, the Judiciary Committee chairman, also asked Barr whether he thought the Justice Department mishandled the 2016 investigation into Clinton’s private email server, performing a lengthy recitation of occasionally profane anti-Trump text messages between two FBI agents.
The question we are all asking now is whether or not Graham will actually follow through with his promise, or if this is just more talk from a man who seems to lack the ability to take action and do what he says he’s going to do.
President Trump and his supporters have been put through the ringer over all of these manufactured scandals. It’s time for someone to come to his side and help him fight back. Doing so would likely be politically advantageous for anyone brave enough to step up to the plate.
Given how self-serving politicians are, you’d think this would be attracting more folks to the battle.
