Lindsey Graham Sends Nancy Pelosi A Chilling Warning…Did She Really Think This Through?

(Tea Party PAC) – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, having pushed her partisan impeachment hoax through the House, is now sitting on the approved articles of impeachment in an obvious attempt to strong-arm the Senate into playing by her rules.

This will likely be futile, or worse, according to Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham, who issued a stern warning to her on Monday.

“If this continues into 2020, the Senate needs to strike back, standing up for our rights and ending this debacle,” wrote Sen. Lindsey Graham on Twitter.

He accused the House Speaker of “trying to run the Senate” and denying President Trump fairness after her “sham impeachment process” in the House.

WND notes that “In the House, Democrats controlled the witness list, restricted cross-examination and conducted closed-door depositions, selectively leaking favorable testimony to the media.”

Over on ZeroHedge, they reported that Graham said, “The Senate will decide how we dispose of this sham created by the House.”

It was hilarious for Pelosi to claim she wanted “fairness” and she was rightly mocked for it by many, including POTUS, who declared that “Pelosi gives us the most unfair trial in the history of the U.S. Congress, and now she is crying for fairness in the Senate, and breaking all rules while doing so. She lost Congress once, she will do it again!”

Pelosi’s allys are claiming that the Constitution sets no time requirement for the House Speaker to forward articles of impeachment to the Senate for a trial.

Trump’s supporters, however, say that the Senate can simply adopt a resolution declaring that there is no case and dismiss the articles completely, even if they haven’t yet been submitted.

The Senate can also schedule a trial at the end of next year, after the next presidential election.

Meanwhile, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is calling for an impeachment process similar to that of Bill Clinton in 1999.

McConnell slammed Pelosi for trying to “tell us how to run the trial.”

“Look, what we need to do is to listen to the arguments, have a written questioning period, and then decide whether we need witnesses or not,” he said.

Graham said on Twitter: “This constitutional outrage by @SpeakerPelosi needs to end. She is trying to run the Senate and deny President @realDonaldTrump his day in court after the House’s sham impeachment process. … Stop playing games with the Constitution. In our system, you can’t be the speaker of the House and the Senate Majority Leader at the same time.”

  1. Pelosi and Schiff have blew away their chance to do the impeachment correct, but they chose to do the fast and lying way, it was your choice, so now face the failed reality, and move on, enough is enough cause we the people have had enough of your stupidity, it’s time to get back to the job you where elected to do, and it’s not wasting taxpayers money as you are doing now. We have had enough
