New Zealand Women Subject Themselves To Sharia Law In “Solidarity” With Muslims

(Tea Party PAC) – On Friday, everyone from television anchors to the prime minister of New Zealand herself donned hijabs as a nod to the Muslim community on the one-week anniversary of the horrific mosque shooting in Christchurch.

You know, it is possible to mourn the horrific slaughter of Muslims without banning all the guns and honoring their patriarchal laws about women. Just saying.

As she met with Muslim communities in Christchurch last weekend, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern wore a hijab, assuring them she stands with them in the wake of the attack.

Arden then announced that the Muslim call to prayer would be broadcast across the nation on TV and radio this Friday.

Kiwi women then opted to wear the hijab on Friday in “solidarity” with the Muslim community, calling the campaign #HeadScarfForHarmony.

While it certainly is a nice gesture, it’s also hard to ignore the fact that, rather than simply offer prayers and support within the framework of their own particular worldviews, Kiwi women are opting to bow to both Sharia law and the tenets of multiculturalism.

These people aren’t showing solidarity with Muslims, they’re reinforcing the ill-fated multicultural views that led to the migrant crisis in the first place.

It’s ironic, too, because many people flee Middle Eastern nations to go to countries where they won’t be beaten in the street for not wearing a hijab or burka.

Muslim views are antithetical to Western views.

In fact, one Iranian woman who opposes Iran’s repressive dictatorship where dress codes are enforced for women was quite angry at the #HeadScarfForHarmony campaign, issuing this tweet:

Another woman, an ex-Muslim living in Canada, said that women in New Zealand are “normalizing rape culture and oppression of millions of women all over the globe!”
