Nick Cannon Slams These White, Progressive Comedians For Blackface Hypocrisy

(Tea Party PAC) – No matter where you stand politically, it’s always good to see ideological consistency.

So good on Nick Cannon for calling out these ultra-liberal white comedians for their history of blackface.

Tweeting “Tell the Jimmys to holla at me!” Cannon called out Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Sarah Silverman for dressing in blackface in a time when the racist practice is in the center of national news.

“Are these your Kings of Late Night??? JimmyFallon JimmyKimmel you know I’m always on the side of the comedian and never pander to the sensitive, but I feel there needs to be some “truth & reconciliation” discussions and teachable moments amongst our communities,” Nick Cannon wrote on Instagram.

“I’m ready and willing for the discourse, so who wants to step up to the table first? In the meantime, I’ll just leave this right here.”

Kimmel and Silverman, in particular, are insufferably progressive and are rarely quiet about their anti-Trump views.

Governor Ralph Northam of Virginia has been at the center of the news for the last few weeks after a blackface photo was uncovered from his medical school yearbook. He, along with the Attorney General of Virginia, later admitted to wearing blackface as part of a costume.

Meanwhile, as Cannon pointe out, these progressive poster children used blackface years ago.

Kimmel used to spoof NBA star Karl Malone, while Fallon mimicked comedian Chris Rock.

Late night hosts Fallon and Kimmell were silent on the Northam controversy, despite it being the top national story for days.

In another Instagram post, Cannon focused on Silverman, including a viral photo of a couple in blackface that was falsely identified as Bill and Hillary Clinton.

To be fair, Silverman has addressed her use of blackface, apologizing for it and calling it “totally racist out of context.”

This is not the first time Cannon has called out Silverman, having previously denounced her and comedians Chelsea Handler and Amy Schumer’s homophobic jokes after Kevin Hart stepped down from hosting the Oscars after being slammed for years-old gay jokes.
