Ruth Bader Ginsburg Has Died: Here’s What The Democrats Are Already Doing

(Tea Party PAC) – Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away on Friday after a decades-long battle with cancer.

The political battle over her replacement was already in full swing just hours after her death, which perhaps has something to do with the fact that she issued a very political deathbed wish.

She expressed a wish that her replacement not be chosen until “a new president is installed.”

“A new president?”

This is very disturbing language, with all due respect to the deceased, considering President Donald Trump is running for re-election. That means “a new president” may not be installed until 2025.

“Just days before her death, as her strength waned, Ginsburg dictated this statement to her granddaughter Clara Spera: ‘My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed,’” NPR confirmed late Friday. BizPac Review reports.

Of course, the left is painting their reaction to this news and insistence that RGB’s wishes be honored with a veneer of “fairness,” like former President Barack Obama.

In a statement issued late friday, he demanded that the Senate Republicans adhere to “basic principle of the law … that we apply rules with consistency, and not based on what’s convenient or advantageous in the moment.”

Yeah, I’m pretty sure this can be arranged. The Dems still won’t like it.

“The rule of law, the legitimacy of our courts, the fundamental workings of our democracy all depend on that basic principle. As votes are already being cast in this election, Republican Senators are now called to apply that standard,” he added.

“The questions before the Court now and in the coming years — with decisions that will determine whether or not our economy is fair, our society is just, women are treated equally, our planet survives, and our democracy endures — are too consequential to future generations for courts to be filled through anything less than an unimpeachable process.”

Of course, what he is getting at is that he, like every other Democrat in the country right now, desperately wishes to avoid seeing Trump get a third SCOTUS pick before his first term is up.

Of course, Ginsburg, who had been battling cancer for years, could have easily retired during Obama’s tenure and given him the nomination for her replacement.

What’s more, Ginsburg is not a member of nobility. Her deathbed wish does not usurp the power of the U.S. Constitution (no matter how little disregard she seemed to have for it in her lifetime).

Of course, the Democrats care for nothing other than preventing the court from being heavily favored against liberals.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer forgot to even pay homage to RGB or wish her family his condolences before he jumped right to the grandstanding:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi did a little better:

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, as we can surely expect from all Democrats now, cited RGB’s deathbed wish as Gospel:

Other Senators also weighed in:

Of course, it’s untrue that McConnell demanded “that SCOTUS vacancies go unfilled during a presidential election year.”

His premise the whole time was that a Senate controlled by one party should never be forced to confirm the nominee for another party during an election year.

That’s a very important difference.

He was already out ahead of the hysteric critics on Friday, explaining:

“In the last midterm election before Justice Scalia’s death in 2016, Americans elected a Republican Senate majority because we pledged to check and balance the last days of a lame-duck president’s second term. We kept our promise. Since the 1880s, no Senate has confirmed an opposite-party president’s Supreme Court nominee in a presidential election year,” he wrote.

  4. RBG attempting to legislate from the hear after! Turns out, that U.S. Supreme Court Justices appointments to the bench, are determined by the U.S. Constitution, and not by the dead Justice’s wishes!

  5. Hate to disappoint a dead person but trumps going to win against a guy who can’t put two sentences together. Also she probably will roll over in her grave because a conservative woman will replace her! Isn’t it great when democrats are miserable!

  6. I am sorry RBG passed and wish her family God’s blessings, but I was not a fan of hers as she did not always follow the constitution in her rulings. The last few years RBG was too political and should have excused herself for any DJT suits. I will not miss RBG.

  7. Trump is president and as per the constitution has the right – duty and obligation to submit a replacement.for the vacant position of SCOTUS. It was Reid – Schumer and Durban that upset the Senate. Time to dissolve the house and Senate for they fail the people.

  8. If RBG truly wants a liberal justice to replace her, she should have retired when Obama was president. RBG is trying to have cake and eat it too! Another Typical liberal selfish nut case!

  9. In a Democratic-Republic, Presidents are Elected.
In banana-republics and puppet dictatorships, presidents are “installed”.
Like the “Republic of Nancy”. It is truly a shame that traitors are allowed to run us all into the ground.

    • RBG used the language “Installed” instead of “elected”. She was in on the plan to manipulate the mail-in ballots, dragged the election out until it had to be settled by the Supreme Court. With Justice Robert on the liberal side, it would have been 5-4, installing Biden as the new president!
