(Tea Party PAC) – There is nothing more disturbing than when leftists compare their fight to destroy the United States, the greatest force for good that has ever existed on the planet, to WWII.
During WWII, the United States saved the world from a horrific fate at the hands of progressive fascists.
If it weren’t for our military might and our commitment to preserving freedom worldwide, who knows what the face of our world would look like today.
In two subsequent American wars, we fought off fascism on soil that was not even our own, only leaving the legacy of peace and freedom in our wake.
In our short history, our country has done more to preserve democracy and liberty in other countries than any other nation has in their own country in the whole of human history.
When we fought against Hitler, we fought against a man who brutally subjugated his citizens as well as the citizens of other sovereign nations. He disarmed his citizens, restricted free speech, pushed out propaganda convincing Germans of large, imagined existential threats and justified his military expansion into other countries.
He was not dissimilar to the leftists of today, who are on a conquest to tear down the pillars of Amerian society to make sure for fascism and globalism, the likes of which would have made Hitler proud.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) initiated the debate over impeachment on Wednesday by comparing her caucus’ fight to get a duly elected president removed from office over partisan grievances to the Battle of the Bulge against Nazi Germany in 1944.
She really did that.
Breitbart notes that the battle described as “Hitler’s Last Gamble,” “the battle began in December 1944, when the Nazis sent 200,000 troops into a surprise attack against American forces. Though the Americans prevailed, 100,000 were killed or wounded over two months of fighting.”
Pelosi compared her impeachment battle to that key battle to thwart the invasion of modern Europe, which was the largest ever fought by the US Army:
Last week, in observance of the 75th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge, members [of the House of Representatives] travelled to that hallowed ground to express our gratitude to the heroes who sacrificed everything to secure victory of freedom over tyranny, not just for America, but for the world. The veterans of that battle — who were there, in their nineties — told us how after the war was worn, the Europeans to whom they liberated would ask, “Why did you risk us? You don’t know us, and give your lives to save us — we’re not Americans?” And our men would say, “We came here to fight for you, not because you are Americans, because we are Americans.” As our beloved [late] chairman Elijah Cummings, and Oversight Committee chair, our North Star, said when announcing his support for this action, quote, “When the history books are written about this tumultuous era I want them to show I was among those in the House of Representatives who stood up to lawlessness and tyranny. … I know that he and all of us here are very proud of the moral courage of members who want to honor the vision of our Founders for a republic, the sacrifice of our men and women in uniform to defend it, and the aspirations of our children to live freely within it. Today we are here to defend democracy for the people. May God bless America.
Breitbart: “Pelosi was right, in one sense: the Battle of the Bulge was the last-ditch effort of a determined enemy of freedom to stave off inevitable defeat.”
That’s absolutely the truth. There is a last-ditch battle being fought against the forces of evil, but it is Pelosi’s side who is about to be defeated in an equally spectacular way.
