(Tea Party PAC) – Here in America, it seems that President Trump has a hard time getting a lot of respect from folks in the mainstream media who are desperate to see him get booted from office so that their Democratic Party overlords will be able to take the White House back and finish their destruction of our great nation.
However, that’s not at all the case for Trump in India. In fact, during his state trip this week, President Trump addressed a huge crowd, we’re talking over 100,000 people, including Prime Minister Narenda Modi, where he praised the host country for their progress and continued economic growth and success.
Here’s what all he had to say via Breitbart News:
“America loves India, America respects India, and America will always be faithful and loyal friends to the Indian people,” Trump said to a crowd of more than 100,000 people at India’s Sardar Patel Gujarat Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The president delivered a speech flattering India’s rise to prosperity under Modi as the largest Democracy in the world and a friend to the United States.
“The story of the Indian nation is a tale of astounding progress, a miracle of democracy, extraordinary diversity, and above all, a strong and noble people,” Trump said.
The president acknowledged the strength of India’s democracy and the economic progress achieved under the leadership of Modi, whom Trump described as his “true friend and praised his rise to power beginning as a poor tea-seller in India.
Modi’s story over of overcoming extreme poverty and adversity is exactly the kind of tale that forms the backbone of the United States. That’s our legacy, one that was built on the foundational principles of liberty that allows folks to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and take their negative circumstances and transform them into their greatest strengths.
This is why someone like Modi loves our country so much. He recognizes the hard work of American citizens that has allowed us collectively to become such a wealthy, powerful nation, a nation of overcomers and dreamers, much like himself. This is the kind of thinking that is lighting India on fire and contributing to their success.
“Everybody loves him, but I will tell you this, he is very tough,” Trump said.
Trump noted that under Modi, India’s middle class was rising, over 270 million people had been lifted out of poverty and more homes had electricity, connections to the internet, and improved infrastructure.
“India’s rise as a prosperous and independent nation is an example to every nation all over the world and one of the most outstanding achievements of our century.”
President Trump promised during his speech to continue fighting against radical Islamic terrorism, working closely with Pakistan and India to crackdown on the organizations that breed these horrific, twisted murderers.
“The United States and India are also firmly united in our ironclad resolve to defend our citizens from the threat of radical Islamic terrorism,” he said, celebrating the successful destruction of ISIS under his administration.
It’s amazing that the people of India clearly recognize the kind of quality leadership that Trump brings to the table more so than many people in our own country. That’s truly a shame, though it’s promising in some ways, because it shows that many around the world understand the importance of his administration.
Here’s to hoping we get four more years of it.
