(Tea Party PAC) – Yesterday was a hard day for many individuals in the conservative movement, as legendary radio host Rush Limbaugh announced that he was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer. Limbaugh, who has seen his share of controversy over the years, was the voice of entire generations of conservatives, leading to the boom in talk radio that spurred the movement on for many, many years.
As you might imagine, leftists all across the country were allowing their true ugliness to come out by celebrating the news, hoping for Limbaugh’s death and posting nasty comments on social media. You know, the usual. That’s the kind of people that make up modern liberal America. Disagree with their politics, they wish you death.
Fortunately for us, both President Trump and Vice President Pence are far too classy to engage in that sort of thing. They both issued statements about Limbaugh’s condition, showcasing how a decent human being reacts to this kind of news.
Here’s more from Gateway Pundit:
President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence issued statements on Twitter Monday in response to the announcement by talk radio icon Rush Limbaugh that he has been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer. Limbaugh, 69, told his radio audience about his condition at the close of Monday’s nationally syndicated radio show.
Trump, “Many people do not know what a great guy & fantastic political talent the great Rush Limbaugh is. There is nobody like him. Looking for a speedy recovery for our friend!”

The Trump campaign also posted in support of Limbaugh Monday night, “From everyone at Team Trump, we wish Rush Limbaugh a speedy recovery! He is a true innovator, a strong conservative leader & a great American. And he is most definitely a fighter! Please keep him and his family in your prayers. #PrayForRush”

Rush Limbaugh is a legend. He’s a man who has always stood boldly for the truth, for the values that our nation is founded upon. When others were too afraid to say what needed to be said, Rush had no problem stepping up and saying what folks needed to hear, rather than what they wanted to hear.
This has not earned him many friends, but his brand of no-compromise conservatism is what launched the modern conservative movement and helped to combat the false narratives being spread around in the mainstream media.
Limbaugh and his family deserve all of the thoughts and prayers that can be sent their direction. Here’s to hoping Rush pulls through and is around for many more years to come.
