(Tea Party PAC) – On Wednesday, Trump shared his reaction to his White House meeting with Congressional Democrat Leaders Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer on the border wall and partial government shutdown, calling it a waste of time because Dems still refuse to provide funding for a border wall, even if Trump agrees to fund the government for thirty days fully.
“Just left a meeting with Chuck and Nancy, a total waste of time. I asked what is going to happen in 30 days if I quickly open things up, are you going to approve Border Security which includes a Wall or Steel Barrier? Nancy said, NO. I said bye-bye, nothing else works!” he wrote.
Yamiche Alcindor of PBS reported that Mike Pence shared with reporters that Trump had been calm during the meeting, passing out candy, and did not, in fact, slam his hands on the table as Schumer had claimed.

Vice President Pence tells me and other reporters that President Trump never slammed his hands on a table as Dems said no and that Trump actually passed out candy and later walked out calmly.

The President is standing firm, as well he should! The Dems know he’s not going to blink, so it’s on them to re-open the government, no matter how much they try to blame it on Trump.
We now have a President who doesn’t play politics and cares only about getting things done and making our country better and safer. Are you going to let him get pushed out in 2020?
