(Tea Party PAC) – Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has no doubt been disappointed by the performance of his campaign in the Iowa caucus and New Hampshire primaries, much of which is likely the result of revelations coming out concerning his involvement in keeping Hunter out of trouble with his shady business practices in Ukraine.
In fact, video evidence exists to show that Biden abused his power and influence as vice president to have a Ukrainian prosecutor fired for daring to look into his son’s activities, which, at the time, should have led to some serious consequences. If, you know, the same standard that the left suddenly developed against President Trump had been applied to Biden at the time. Obviously, this sudden morality is only being used now because it conveniently helps them attack the current president.
Well, Biden is now going to bat for his son, appearing on “The View” and claiming that Hunter has “done nothing but good things his whole life.”
You mean like knocking boots with a stripper and having a love child that he attempted to deny was his? Those kind of good things?
Here’s more from Breitbart:
Co-host Joy Behar said, “People wanted to see you really get mad when people started lying about Hunter and saying things about Hunter. I don’t know that you got mad enough.”
Biden said, “Well, you know I would like to be able to be back in high school and just have he and I in a room.”
Behar said, “Of course, I know.”
Biden continued, “But all kidding aside, here’s the deal. Look, it is hurtful, particularly when guys like Lindsey Graham, who’s a friend of mine, do these things.”
Behar went on to ask if Biden still considered Graham a friend after his attacks on the Biden family and demanding that both Joe and Hunter testify in the impeachment trial that has now come and gone.
“Look, presidents can’t —I plan on being president. Presidents can’t hold grudges. You got to heal. You got to heal the country, and I just don’t want to let myself get into the mood of —like, for example, people say, why don’t I attack his kids, they’re making millions?”
Behar said, “No, no.”
Jill Biden said, “You got to be above it.”
Biden continued, “That’s not how we were raised. And look, nobody has said he’s done anything wrong. This is a guy who has done nothing but good things his whole life, my son. He ran a food program WFP USA, a whole range of things. But look, it’s what it is. We knew it was going to be ugly.”
Look, it’s understandable that Biden would want to defend his son. He’s his child after all, and any good parent would want to come to the aid of a child, even if the behavior they were caught participating in was awful and worthy of public condemnation.
However, that doesn’t negate the fact that Biden and his son played a significant role in the impeachment against Donald Trump and should have participated in giving testimony and allowing themselves to be questioned.
The elder Biden should be held accountable in some way for openly bragging about abusing his power to protect Hunter. This sort of thing cannot be tolerated, nor should it ever be allowed. Republicans were wrong for not pouncing on that whole event when it happened.
Here’s to hoping some justice is served and folks guilty of corruption are held accountable.
