(Tea Party PAC) – A group of wives and significant others of the brave men and women who work as border patrol agents along our dangerous southern border issued a scathing letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi this week, inviting her to come to their town near the Rio Grande so she can see just how vital it is to build a wall.
“We would like to show you around! You don’t need to bring any security detail. Our husbands/boyfriends/fiances/wives/significant others are actually very good at their jobs, thank goodness!” posted Jill Demanski on Facebook on January 24th, just one day before Trump announced the government would temporarily re-open.
“We’d also appreciate if you’d stop pretending that you care about federal workers. If you did, you would care for their safety, not just their paychecks. We can hold out a while longer if it means our husbands and communities are safer,” she added.
“I felt it’s really important to have our leaders come here and see what’s happening first. It’s important to meet with the people who are here on a daily basis, that are witnessing it – the effects of it, that it has on our country,” Demanski explained to “Fox & Friends” Monday. “We want them to come here and make an informed decision and to see what’s really going on.”
Trump himself recently visited McAllen, Texas, to visit with border patrol agents who maintain that a barrier wall is vital for stopping the flow of illegal aliens into our borders.
Pelosi refused to speak with angel families or border patrol agents who know all too well the high cost of a porous border.
The Democrats would prefer to see more Americans and hard-working law enforcement officers killed than give President Trump an inch.
