(Tea Party PAC) – You’d think the left would have learned by now not to cross Candace Owens.
On Friday, Owens, the sharp-tongued conservative commentator that the left loves to hate, appeared before the House Judiciary Committee on hate crimes and white nationalism.
Author Kathleen Belew, a so-called expert on the “white power movement” used her time to weave blatant lies about Owens.
Owens would later refer to Belew as “despicable” which is the perfect word to describe the way she was treated by the author.
Belew accused Owens of laughing after the horrific Christchurch mosque massacre, which is a blatant falsehood.
It was so bad, in fact, that Rep. Mark Meadows granted Owens his time so she could respond to the accusations.
Candace Owens: You know that white supremacy and white nationalism ranks nowhere near the issues that are facing black America. And the reason you are bringing them up in this room is an attempt to make it all about race…
You know exactly what I meant when I said hilarious. You just tried to do live what the media does all the time to Republicans, to our president, and to conservatives. You tried to manipulate what I said to fit your narrative…
The audacity of you bringing up the Christchurch killer and manifesto and make it seem like I laughed at people who were slaughtered by a homicidal maniac is in my opinion absolutely despicable. And I think that we should be above that…
This hearing in my opinion is a farce. And it is ironic that you are sitting here and having three Caucasian people here to testify and tell you what their expertise are. Do you know what my expertise are? Black in America. I’ve been black in America my whole life, all 30 years and I can tell you, you guys have done the exact same thing every 4 years.
“This hearing was a planned attack on popular conservative Candace Owens,” the Gateway Pundit notes.
Unfortunately for the Dems, Owens, along with Meadows and Jordan, turned the tables back on them.

Candace Owens responded following the hearing:
Made-up professor @kathleen_belew made the SEVERE error today of personally attacking me at a hearing on White Supremacy.
Let what happened next serve as a warning to every virtue-signaling, white liberal in America:
Black America is DONE being used as an election-cycle prop. https://t.co/qh6EeVwen6
