Watch: President Trump Slams Dems For Doing Less To Address Migrant Crisis Than Mexico

(Tea Party PAC) – President Donald Trump is slamming the Democrats in the wake of his recent deal with Mexico, calling them out for refusing the hell with our crippling migrant crisis at the southern border.

He is, of course, absolutely right. As Congress has sat on their hands out of sheer spite for our commander-in-chief, officials in another nation are more willing to work with the president to address what is a clearly demonstrated humanitarian and security crisis on our border.

“Mexico doing more for the United States now than Congress — specifically the Democrats,” Trump said Monday at the White House. “We have a tremendous problem at the border.”

POTUS made thee comments during an event recognizing the winner of the Indy 500 race.

He also responded to denials from Mexican officials that there was a border agreement in place after he’d lifted his threat to impose tariffs on them if they refused to agree to address the migrant crisis.

“We have an agreement on something they will announce very soon,” he said. “It’s all done. It was all done because of the tariffs and the relationship with Mexico.”

Watch:

Sure enough, over the weekend, the Democrats were complaining that Trump had reached a deal with Mexico.

Do they honestly want a raging border crisis with 100,000 illegal aliens flowing into our nation every year?

Wait.

Don’t answer that.

We reported:

On Saturday morning, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) released a statement claiming that Trump had “undermined America’s preeminent leadership role in the world” by threatening Mexico with tariffs in the first place.

“We are deeply disappointed by the Administration’s expansion of its failed Remain-in-Mexico policy, which violates the rights of asylum seekers under U.S. law and fails to address the root causes of Central American migration,” Pelosi’s statement said. “Threats and temper tantrums are no way to negotiate foreign policy.”

The Remain-in-Mexico policy that Trump has expanded requires foreigners requesting asylum in the US to remain in Mexico as they await their hearings.

Over in the Senate, Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) sarcastically said that now that Trump has solved illegal immigration, we doesn’t expect to hear about it again.

“This is an historic night!” Schumer wrote on Twitter. “@realDonaldTrump has announced that he has cut a deal to ‘greatly reduce, or eliminate, Illegal Immigration coming from Mexico and into the United States.’ Now that that problem is solved, I’m sure we won’t be hearing any more about it in the future.”
