Watch: Trump’s Reception At Alabama-LSU Game Is Very Different From DC World Series Game

(Tea Party PAC) – Last month, President Donald Trump attended a game in the World Series to watch the Washington DC Nationals play the Houston Astros in their home town.

In the notoriously deep-blue town, the reaction was mixed.

There were plenty of cheers, but also boos and chants of “lock him up” (wait, I thought it was inciting violence when Trump supporters chanted “lock her up” in 2016?)

This is because Washington DC locals are classic political establishment elitists who have no clue what the majority of Americans think or feel.

But Alabama-LSU fans just reminded the nation exactly how salt-of-the-earth flyover Americans really feel.

On Saturday afternoon, POTUS and First Lady Melania Trump joined the over 100,000 college football fans at the Byrant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

When they were announced on the Jumbotron, the crowd rose to their feet issuing deafening cheers and boisterous chants of “USA! USA!”

“POTUS just came in and stood waving from a luxury box near midfield. Fans cheered loudly, some chanting “USA,” read a press pool report.

Particularly worthy of note, Trump was joined in the box by his former Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, who announced this week he’s putting his name up to win back the Senate seat he vacated when he joined the Trump administration.

And others:

But it wasn’t all cheers. No, of course not.

Some impassioned protesters showed up to express their outrage at the president’s policies.

All 10 of them.
