What The Trump Administration Has Started To Implement Involving Welfare-Dependent Immigration Is Going To Give Liberals Fits

(Tea Party PAC) – President Trump’s administration is taking aim at welfare-dependent immigration to the United States by putting a ban into effect meant to prevent it from happening and putting a massive strain on the U.S. economy.

As you can probably imagine, this particular policy, among many others held by Trump and conservatives across America, is not sitting well with Democrats who want to pander to the illegal alien demographic in hopes of snaring them into a lifetime of servitude as a voter for the party, loyal to the end thanks to the addiction to free stuff.

This is one of the reasons why Trump’s “America first” agenda rubs the left the wrong way. It destroys their ability to use minorities and illegal aliens to preserve their power, making them vulnerable and preventing them from instituting their progressive nightmare vision of our country.

Here’s more on this from Breitbart:

After the U.S. Supreme Court gave the green light for the regulation, the Trump administration has now begun applying what is known as the “Public Charge” rule — a rule whereby legal immigrants are less likely to secure a permanent residency in the U.S. if they have used any forms of welfare in the past, including any cash benefits for income maintenance, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Temporary Assistance to Needy Families, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)– otherwise known as food stamps, Medicaid, and certain taxpayer-funded housing programs.

The rule will now apply nationwide and, as Breitbart News previously noted, will favor younger, self-sufficient, healthier, and English-speaking legal immigrants over those who have used at least one form of public welfare for more than 12 months within any 36-month period.

When last asked of their support for the rule, 56 percent of Hispanic Americans said they supported favoring self-sufficient legal immigrants for green cards over welfare-dependent legal immigrants, as well as about 6-in-10 of all American voters and 62 percent of all swing voters.

Now why in the world would Hispanic Americans be in favor of something that prevents certain individuals from being able to come over to this country? Well, that’s actually pretty easy to explain. Many of these folks or their relatives, came to this country through the front door rather than breaking the law to sneak in through the back.

This means they put in the time, effort, and work to become a citizen of what they believe is the greatest nation on earth, a country worth all of the blood, sweat, and tears they poured out to get here. They earned the right to be here. Those who want to come here and mooch off the system are not respecting the effort that they put into being apart of America.

Hispanic Americans believe that all people who want to come here should be self-sufficient, and that’s absolutely true. It’s not that we as Americans don’t want to help the poor of the world. It’s that our resources are limited, thus, when so many folks come here and get hooked on the system it strains our economy by increasing taxes. We simply cannot help everyone.

Acting Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Deputy Secretary Ken Cuccinelli said in a statement that the Public Charge rule is merely a continuation of “longstanding law” dating back to the 1800s. Most recently in 1996, a rule demanding legal immigrants be self-sufficient was codified into federal statute but has hardly ever been enforced. Cuccinelli said:

This rule enforces longstanding law requiring aliens to be self-sufficient, reaffirming the American ideals of hard work, perseverance, and determination. It also offers clarity and expectations to aliens considering a life in the United States and will help protect our public benefits programs.

The rule in question is a boon for taxpayers in the form of a yearly $57.4 billion tax cut, which is the amount of money that hard working Americans who contribute to the system pay out every single year for welfare, crime, and schooling costs of the mass importation of the 1.2 million new, primarily low-skilled legal immigrants.

Self-suficiency is critical to assimilation into American culture, therefore, if people want to be here, they have to be willing to put in the time, work, and effort to take care of themselves and their families. Part of living in a free country is self-governance, and that requires self-suficency.

  1. My FAMILY BOTH SIDES CAME HERE LEGALLY! Mexico brought one half up because of the trades they were masters at! NO help or money and could NOT VOTE or rec SS. MY folks family came thru Ellis Isl. Had to have health papers, sponsor, place to live, job waiting and no help from our govt. All served in military, bought homes, started farms, all thru hard work and no help AND ALL LEARNED ENGLISH AND BECAME CITIZENS! THATS WHAT THE LAWS WERE THEN, WHEN DID IT CHANGE? MANY FOLKS I WORKED WITH WAITED YEARS TO GET TO COME HERE! AND THE ONLY REASON THE MOB COMING HERE KNOW IS ALL THE FREEBIES THAT ARE GIVEN!
THEY GET PER YR MORE THAN WE SENIORS WHO WORKED FOR OUR SS!

  2. Here’s a plan :
Build a military style tent city in the desert for non violent illegals and immigrants; managed by a military construction battalion.
Residents will learn marketable skills by converting the tents to quonsette huts for their own use, paving streets, running in water, insulation, dry wall, sewerage and electricity. All while providing for their own food prep and laundry services, all essential services for their city etc… all in English.

i.e. A self contained ( non voting ) city under military C.B. management.
No one may enter the U.S. from the city ( or vote ) until he has earned citizenship and can pass citizenship exams in English. However anyone may leave back to his country of origin at any time.
The military will provide classes on proud American history, and culture preparing our new citizens to be contributors not leaches.
They will emerge as full America loving citizens, who will likely vote Republican.
Watch the dems vote billions to close the border.

  3. My wifes parents came out of war torn Germany in the 30’s spent 5 years in Canada working to get citizenship in the U.S. accomplished it and located in the St louis area. Started a grocery store and became very self sufficient! They did it the right way! Didn’t sneak jump or crawl over any borders! And were very proud U.S. citizens.

  4. What’s REALLY SAD is the FACT that this IMMIGRATION PROBLEM has been kicked down the road, swept under the rug FOR DECADES – by PRESIDENTS of BOTH PARTIES . Nobody wanted to deal with it out of fears of hurting THEIR SELFISHNESS of trying to get re-elected . When THAT happened we ALL knew it was going to turn out like this – TOO MANY to handle – thank you God that NOW we’ve got A REAL PRESIDENT that’s ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT !!!! President TRUMP is a TRUE LEADER – we wouldn’t be in this situation had President Trump been president when all of this “passing the buck” crap started !! Trump is a man of his word- so refreshing in today’s world of treasonous lying politicians- VOTE TRUMP November 2020 !!! DOWN WITH COMMUNIST DEMOCRATES

  5. Canada does not allow anyone into their country unless they have verification of a job when they arrive or an education or other means of obtaining one, they do not provide handouts like this country does! Checked into Spain for moving there and they do NOT provide public assistance NOR do they provide medical assistance. One better have insurance before arriving there and they DO NOT accept Medicaid or Medicare! One better have means of obtaining work as no welfare provided! Mexico has a toughter immigration policy than we do. This was Obama’s doing as he gave them and also ENTICED these people with food stamps and bank cards, medicaid and so on as he advertised it at airports and bus stations and so on. Go back and investigate, big posters on walls in airports in S. America. This is why we had these huge swarms and he ws laughing all the way!

  6. I have previously commented that legal immigrants were essentially entitled to all the rights possessed by native-born or naturalized US citizens EXCEPT for the right to vote. I now have to amend that comment to include “no SPECIFIC right to taxpayer-provided financial aid or assistance.” Legal, non- citizen immigrants MUST and SHOULD assume personal financial responsibility for themselves and their families as part of the cost of immigration into the country. As for ILLEGAL immigrants, GO BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM, AND DON’T LET THE DOOR 🚪 HIT YOU IN THE ASS ON THE WAY OUT!

    • Amen to that! Why are we giving them our medicare and medicaid then in our old age it is not there for us? We all paid into it and it should not be going anywhere else except to citizens of this country.

    • O’Bama had his death panels , now Bloomberg is is doing the same thing . Seniors , go home and die . They can’t afford to help us but give illegals anything they want . Those in authority that are too stupid to understand what ” illegal ” means should bed kicked out of office , including NY governor Cuomo that gave a pardon to illegals that were in jail for MURDER !

  7. I’m wondering what the unemployment rate is for illegal immigrants. We know the unemployment rate for documented workers but we have no clue regarding illegal immigrants. Given the lies and fraud in government will never get the true numbers. How can you trust numbers coming from the swamp.

  8. As of today, we have 26 MILLION illegals living in our country and enjoying everything that Americans enjoy. They have cheated to get here, they use illegal documents to vote, obtain a drivers license and much more. The thing that makes me angry, is American businessmen hire these illegals and “ push out Americans. I have heard Business owners say, they can work them 16 hours a day 7 days a week and hardly pay them scale. Most Illegals live on welfare, food stamps, chips, free housing and drive a brand new cars or trucks ! Along with deporting All the Illegals, we MUST arrest and Prosecute the Americans that hire them, sell them cars, rent houses etc.

    • Arrest the ones that employ them, yes. Give loans to them, yes. Sell them new vehicles or rent them housing, no. If they have the money for these things, let them buy our goods. If they don’t, the only thing they should get is a free ticket back to where they came from.

  9. Back in the Clinton Era when typewriters became extinct and I became a janitor I asked British Columbia for permission to relocate and was politely told to stay home as I had nothing to offer them. A few years later I became a long haul trucker and had quite a few runs into their beautiful country but I stayed a loyal Norte Americano in the Estados Unitis. I guess Canada doesn’t need any Republicans

  10. My grandparents came over from Sweden in the very early 1900s and they had to have a sponsor. They then had to repay their sponsor either by my Grandpa working (he was a master carpenter) or becoming an indentured servant (housekeeping, child care, etc.), until they paid the loans off. Luckily, my Grandpa got a job immediately, and they were totally self-sufficient. In a few years, they bought a two-flat (brownstone) in Chicago, rented out one apartment and lived happily ever after. In fact, my Dad and Grandpa never missed a day of work during the Depression as they remodeled homes for the wealthy. Hard work always wins out.

  11. My neigabor came here from Italy. It took him 2years to get here legally. I sold him my deceased brother’s house. He married and the house is in better shape then when my brother built it. If he sees me working around my home he comes over to help me. He works all the time. Does not want a hand out. Says this is the best contry in the world. It is easy to make money here. He just now got his citizenship.
