What These NY Times Writers Did With Trump’s Advice To Governors On Medical Ventilators Is Appalling And Everything Wrong With Journalism Today

(Tea Party PAC) – The vast majority of the voices in the mainstream media are left-leaning and hardly what you’d call shy about expressing their true thoughts and feelings about President Trump. In fact, most publications and news networks pretty much work around the clock to oppose the president, his agenda, and all of those who support him, opting instead to perform as the propaganda wing of the Democratic Party.

This kind of bias was put on full display after at least eight authors for the NY Times shared a quote that was deceptively edited Monday from Trump’s recent call with state governors. The quote was edited in such a way as to give the false impression that President Trump is denying federal support for ventilators that hospitals need to help treat coronavirus patients.

Here’s more on this from Breitbart:

In his message, the president recommended that states procure respirators and ventilators because it would be faster — but added that the federal government “will be backing you.”

The Times journalists omitted the bulk of the president’s statement as they shared the story on social media. The misleading, partial quote was also boosted by a CNN correspondent and became the lead headline at the left-wing Huffington Post.

Despite growing online backlash to this misinformation, the journalists have yet to delete or retract their comments.

The eight journalists tweeted a link to a Times article published Monday that contains President Trump’s full statement to state governors in which the president recommended that they shouldn’t wait for the federal government to fill the growing demand for respirators needed to treat people with coronavirus.

The left is now placing their anti-Trump agenda above the safety and security of the citizens of the United States, making the destruction of their nemesis of more value than fulfilling their duties as journalists to provide truth and facts to a scared and panicky public.

Here’s what the president actually said:

“Respirators, ventilators, all of the equipment — try getting it yourselves,” President Trump told the governors during the Monday conference call. “We will be backing you, but try getting it yourselves. Point of sales, much better, much more direct if you can get it yourself.”

In the body portion of the posts created by these authors, the bulk of what the president said was left out, leaving the comments in a void without their proper context. This is what passes for journalism these days for liberals. Never let a crisis go to waste when you can hijack it and make it about trashing President Trump.

Times national correspondent Julie Bosman tweeted only the first third of the president’s statement, leaving out the part where he said the federal government will back the states.

Bosman, reacting to intense backlash, defended herself by inaccurately claiming that “the second part of the quote repeats the first part, twice.” In fact, the second part of the president’s statement says that the federal government “will be backing you [the states].”

Here’s a sample of the nonsense perpetuated by some of the other authors:

Gay was recently involved in one of the most embarrassing gaffes ever made on public television when she made an appearance on MSNBC with anchor Brian Williams and horrifically botched some basic math to claim that billionaire Michael Bloomberg could have “given every American a million dollars.”

Yeah….no. In fact, the money he blew on his attempt to buy out the Democratic presidential nomination only amounted to $2 a person.

The lesson here, ladies and gentlemen, is that unless you’ve heard something completely and fully straight from the president or anyone else for that matter, you probably should take what you read in the news with a grain of salt.

Media outlets have proven the agenda against Trump is more important than the truth, which truly signals the death of honest journalism.

  2. I am waiting for the “good time” Donald Trump sends Home Land Security armed with automatic weapons to shut down DNC mouthpieces and Communist Media like New York Time, Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, HuffPost etc. These are Obama legacies who are sucking the life blood of USA, and enriching China every day.

  3. When is the media going to tell the truth about what happened during the EIGHT years of the Obama White House .The media film flamed America into backing a BLACK man for president. Not a great man ,not a brilliant man ,not a honest man, but a man who hated America ,blame the police for crime ,turned our government law departments into his private recking crew and more . Just what the H- – – did he make America anywhere?? The problem with America today is 65 years of very BAD people running Washington and they know the country loving Americans are on to them and that is why we elected TRUMP .He terrifies them because the word is out he has ordered thousands of orange jump suits

  4. I’ve heard it said and I believe it….a subscription to the Times will alleviate the toilet paper shortage for your family. The perfect use for it!

  5. It is high time that these paraiahs be hauled in on sedition charges. This is a classic case and the DOJ should act on it.

  6. I believe The New York Times, Washington Post and other left wing media outlets will eventually pay a price for their dishonesty and for their arrogant view that they need to “guide” us into choosing the correct political path. As they are currently function, they have brought the US media down to a level that is on par with some third world countries, and we all deserve better.

  7. ventilators r not dime a dozen . There r really no big numbers of ventilators waiting to be bought out . It takes lots of time and labour to build a ventilator 95 % of doctors don`t know How to use a ventilator There r no empty hospital beds for so many ventilators …..There r no nurses waiting to take care of a corona virus infected patient ……..Already few doctors r in critical condition because they took care of corona infected patients I DON`T SEE ANY EASY SOLUTION ..

  8. The states would be faster by far: O Biden admin. would have had the fed bureaucracy do it. STates, through local hospitals, would be quicker and easier given the transport and supply routes. Press is really dumb and angry. Idiots.

  9. They keep digging bigger holes for themselves. You have to wonder how they are still in business. Evil lurks in the corrupt media who belong to the CULT (aka) Democrats. They sold their souls and SATAN has awarded them poison minds.
    God Bless President Trump. #KAG

  10. I’ve been in journalism for 50 years, and it’s so sad to see the overly biased left-wing liberal/socialist/Communist mainstream “fake news” media get more dishonest by the day. They’re an utter disgrace and embarrassment to themselves, the profession and the country!!!!!!! If anyone should be impeached, it’s these sorry, sorry, sorry excuses for human beings who are such obnoxious, arrogant, pompous, deplorable, disgusting, repulsive, revolting, nauseating, pathetic and DANGEROUS lowlifes. And even worse, they’re lapdogs for the left-wing liberal/socialist/Communist Democrats who are doing so much harm to the country.

  11. They are a complete bunch of aholes and anyone who would purchase and read the NYTimes only helps support their complete untruth reporting.
