(Tea Party PAC) – President Barack Obama was the most progressive commander-in-chief in our nation’s history, a record that could soon be blown away if his former Vice President, Joe Biden, manages to get illegitimately sworn into office in January.
Still, despite the party’s rapid push to the far-left, it’s simply not enough for Obama.
He’s annoyed that the party hasn’t given a bigger platform to progressive firebrand Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who has been a major thorn in the side of anyone trying to appeal the party to moderate voters over the last two years.
In the same interview in which he said that phrases like “defund the police” alienate people, the former POTUS also ironically complained that AOC hadn’t been given a long enough speaking slot at the DNC.
If AOC had spoken for more than the two minute slot she was given, she would have likely brought up one of her whacko ideas just like “defund the police,” “abolish ICE,” or “free college for all.”
Democrats don’t really do logic, clearly.
“One thing I will say about the Democratic Party, promoting young people is really important. We stick so long with the same old folks and don’t make room for new voices,” Obama told Snapchat’s Good Luck America, The Washington Examiner reported.
He pointed to AOC’s short appearance during the national Zoom meeting that was the 2020 DNC.
“The fact that AOC only got, what? Three minutes or five minutes? When she speaks to a broad section of young people who are interested in what she has to say, even if they don’t agree with everything she says,” he said.
“New blood is always good. And I say that as somebody who used to be the young, shiny cool guy. But now is the gray-haired old grizzled vet.”
AOC, in fact, is not unlike Obama. The 31-year-old former bartender famously beat out a Democrat establishment pillar in the House thanks to a Soros-funded campaign that featured dreamy, Soviet-style posters not unlike Obama’s “Hope” posters back in 2008.
She also loves to fill her impassioned speeches with lots of nice-sounding phrases that inspire many and mean very little, just like Obama.
And she’s quite hip with the social media too, also like this “grizzled” vet.
Unlike Obama, however, she’s quite open about her radical politics. So why is faux moderate Obama endorsing her while criticizing the party for using radical phrases that she uses?
He can’t keep his story straight about the despicable state of his party.
