You Won’t Believe Why The Left Is Angry With Tucker Carlson (Or How They’re Trying To Take Him Down)

(Tea Party PAC) – The thing about political correctness is that while it’s very nice to be considerate of people’s feelings, it’s considerably more important to speak the truth.

And if a statement is incredibly important and factual, it’s actually distinctly dishonest, and even possibly deceptive, to punish those who make it simply because it’s not nice.

Conservatives know all too well what it’s like to be punished for speaking the truth, and Tucker Carlson is certainly no stranger to triggering leftists.

But after a very factual statement on illegal immigrants made on his show last week, melting snowflakes are so upset they’re trying to bully his sponsors into dropping him.

And it’s working.

Here’s the deal: during last week’s show, Carlson referred to members of the migrant caravan as “nice people” that unfortunately like only had “high school education or less” and were seeking entry into the US to seek better employment.

“As an economic matter, this is insane. It’s indefensible, but nobody tries to defend it,” Carlson said. “Instead, our leaders demand that you shut up and accept this. We have a moral obligation to admit the world’s poor, they tell us, even if it makes our own country poorer, dirtier and more divided.”

Is this a nice, gentle statement? No.

Is this a factual statement? Absolutely.

It was clearly the “poorer” and “dirtier” part that triggered the left, who totally missed the point of Carlson’s overall statement.

Instead, they set about convincing his sponsors he’s super mean.

At least one sponsor, Pacific Life, has come forward to say they will be pulling their advertisements and will “reevaluate” their relationship with Tucker’s program.

Crazy to think that, in this day and age, being offended over calling poor people who have demonstrated to leave dirty messes in their wake is so offensive an advertiser will drop you:

This is actually one of the harsh realities of poverty and is not lacking in sympathy or compassion for the migrant caravan. It just addresses one of the stark realities of hosting even more homeless, undocumented hoards of people than we already have living here.

Fox News, at least, is standing behind the embattled Carlson.

“It is a shame that left-wing advocacy groups, under the guise of being supposed ‘media watchdogs,’ weaponize social media against companies in an effort to stifle free speech,” the recently said in a statement. “We continue to stand by and work with our advertisers through these unfortunate and unnecessary distractions.”
