URGENT: State Democrats Block Ivermectin Treatments

(Tea Party PAC) – The most bizarre aspect of the COVID charade is the fact that the way in which doctors treat their patients has become politicized. Politicians have been getting involved in the decision-making for medical experts. If there was ever a sign that the US was heading down the wrong road, this just might be it.

Doctors should have the freedom to treat their patients how they see fit, not based on what is allowed by politicians.

In Virginia, a bill in the state Senate has been blocked that would have allowed healthcare providers to prescribe Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine. Naturally, it was Democrats in the Senate that defeated the bill. They also shut down a public comment session and ordered Capitol police to remove citizens from the chamber.

Textbook communism.

The Democratic majority on the Senate Education and Health Committee moved to kill the GOP bill and Democratic committee Chairwoman Sen. Louise Lucas cut the remote audio feed for Charlottesville radio-show host Rob Schilling as he voiced his support for the bill.

After the 9-6 vote along party lines, Lucas banged her gavel and ordered officers to remove the many doctors, family members of COVID patients and others who came to speak in support of the bill.

“Virginians are dying,” a woman who was ordered to leave shouted as she held up a copy of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s book “The Real Anthony Fauci.” She also shouted “People across this nation are dying as a result of this man.”

Another woman appropriately shouted, “Tyrants!” as she and others were kicked out.

Why on earth is the state Senate making decisions on how medical experts can treat their patients? This is beyond absurd.

Republican state Sen. Amanda Chase, sponsor of the bill, pointed out the blatant and glaring hypocrisy of the Democrats, saying they “will legalize marijuana but prohibit the use of ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine for the treatment of COVID in a right to try state like Virginia.”

“If Virginians are going to be given the right to try marijuana, then give them the right to try life-saving ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine,” she said.

The National File noted that after the vote, the committee chairman, Lucas, posted a video on Twitter in which she vowed to form a Democratic “brick wall” that will throw Republican bills in the trash. She drove her point home by crumpling up a piece of paper and tossing it in the trash.

Dr. Paul Marik of Eastern Virginia Medical School who is suing a Norfolk hospital for banning him from prescribing Ivermectin to his COVID patients, says that this is much bigger than any one drug.

“This is not about ivermectin. This is about the bedside doctor being able to do what doctors have been doing for decades, and what doctors do across the world,” he said. “Doctors decide what is the best treatment for their patients, and they alone are responsible for the patient and the treatment of the patient.”

He said ivermectin is among other “safe off-label drugs that they are prohibiting me from using.”

Ivermectin is one of the safest and most effective treatment options for COVID patients. It isn’t doctors making the decision not to use it to treat sick people, it’s out of control state legislatures that are making these decisions.

This is not how things should work at all. This is totalitarianism at its finest, folks. How much more are we going to take?
