(Tea Party PAC) – According to a new report from Infowars, just mere hours after allegedly setting fire to a massive Christmas tree located outside of a New York City building that hosts the offices of Fox News, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Post, a 49-year-old homeless man by the name of Craig Tamanaha was released back out onto the streets.
The burning of the 50-foot tree, which was decked out with 10,000 glass ornaments and 100,000 lights, ended up costing close to $500,000 in damages.
And now, according to reports coming from WND, Tamanaha is on the run from police after he failed to comply with the terms of his release. Does this really shock anyone? Democratic Party policies are absolutely obliterating cities with their refusal to actually punish criminals.
“According to Fox News, Craig Tamanaha, 49, was arrested on Dec. 8 after the alleged arson. A criminal complaint said he had been ‘thinking about lighting the tree on fire all day’ before deciding to go through with it,” the report said.

“After the arson attack, various figures on the left attempted to downplay the severity of the crime and suggested Fox should have covered other events instead,” WND went on to say. Come on, we all know if something like this happened in front of CNN, the network would be covering it nonstop, doing anything and everything possible to make it look like an act of homegrown terrorism perpetrated by conservatives.

And millions of more stories are ignored by FOX. How many times did they report on that damn Christmas tree? If that's all they have, it's no wonder their viewers are dumb as a rock.

However, where the law is concerned, the acts carried out by Tamanaha were very, very serious.
“Tamanaha allegedly sneaked into the Midtown area where the tree was standing outside Fox News’ headquarters around 12:10 a.m. on Dec. 8. He proceeded to light the 50-foot artificial tree on fire and caused $500,000 worth of damage, according to the complaint,” WND said.
Not long after the attack, the homeless man’s father spoke with the New York Post saying he had a history of carrying out destructive crimes as well as drug abuse.
“Oh, he’s a nut. I can’t control him,” Richard Tamanaha stated. “Mentally, he’s not all there.”
Apparently, NYPD Police Commissioner Dermot Shea stated that Tamanaha was an “individual that’s known to us” due to a history of crime.
“According to Fox, Tamanaha was arraigned on three charges: felony second-degree criminal mischief, misdemeanor second-degree reckless endangerment and misdemeanor fifth-degree arson,” the report went on to say.
However, despite the charges he was facing, Judge Martinez Alonso wasn’t allowed to set bail for the man. New York criminal justice reforms that were put in place back in 2020 that have prohibited bail from being set for these kinds of charges, despite the fact one of them was a felony.
Alonso was then forced to let Tamanaha go free, but ordered him to “regularly check in with a supervised release program,” according to Fox.
Less than a month has gone by, and already the man has violated this agreement.
“Officials from the Manhattan district attorney’s office said he has failed to regularly check in with the required program and is now considered to be on the lam,” WND said.

So, yeah, thanks a lot, Democrats.
Your crappy policies have once again allowed a dangerous man to go free on the streets.
