(Tea Party PAC) – President Donald Trump’s plane had to make an emergency landing on Saturday during a flight from New Orleans to Palm Beach, Florida, according to a report from Politico.
According to WND, the plane was taking Trump back to Mar-a-Lago after he delivered a speech to a Republican National Committee donor meeting when one of the engines on the plane failed, which then forced the pilot to turn around and make an emergency landing in New Orleans, two individuals familiar with the situation told Politico.
“About 20 to 30 minutes into the flight, the pilot reportedly told air traffic control the landing was ’emergency in nature,’ a source who had reportedly been briefed on an audio recording of the distress call told Politico,” the report said.
“The RNC quickly found another plane for Trump to travel on, and he arrived in Palm Beach at around 3 a.m. Sunday morning, Politico reported,” WND said.

During the 84-minute speech Trump delivered over the weekend, he smacked Joe Biden around for his poor handling of Russia’s war with Ukraine and then praised the GOP, according to the Washington Post.
“The Republican Party is now a fighting party,” Trump went on to say, during the speech. “We are now a winning party. We are never going back to what it was before.”
“A Trump spokesman told Fox News that Trump’s Boeing 757 from the 2016 campaign is being totally refurbished – including new engines and new interior – and that the plane should be in operation again in the coming weeks or months,” Fox News reported.
“The reconstruction of the plane, dubbed Trump Force One by the former president and his cohorts, was touted in an email sent to his supporters this week. That email asked recipients if they ‘want to see the new Trump Force One’ and linked to a WinRed contribution page,” the report from Fox News continued.
According to a report from Newsmax that was published in May of 2021, Trump’s Boeing 757 received some upgrades just last year.
“Many people have asked about the beautiful Boeing 757 that became so iconic during the Trump rallies,” Trump’s statement last year went on to say. “It was effectively kept in storage in Upstate New York in that I was not allowed to use it during my presidency. It is now being fully restored and updated and will be put back into service sometime prior to the end of the year.”
“It will soon be brought to a Louisiana service facility for the completion of work, inspection and updating of Rolls-Royce engines, and a brand-new paint job. When completed, it will be better than ever, and again used at upcoming rallies!” he said.
Trump purchased the plane from Paul Allen, a late Microsoft executive, back in 2010. He used the plane extensively during his 2016 presidential campaign, often using it as part of the backdrop for some of his rallies.
