CBS Caught Deleting Footage After Their Reporter Highlights Horrifying Details About Pandemic

(Tea Party PAC) – The mainstream media shamelessly lie for the radical left. It’s abhorrent how dishonest these leftist lap dogs have become. Then, to top it all off, they have the audacity to call out alternative news sources as “fake news” and “propaganda.” It truly boggles the mind.

Another mainstream media outlet has been caught editing out the truth, once again. This time, CBS News was caught scrubbing one of their own journalist’s remarks about the adverse effects of ongoing COVID measures on young children.

The media isn’t interested in discussing this reality. They’d rather just continue to pretend that children are at great risk of dying from COVID and therefore the abusive measures being employed to “protect” them are justified.

The blatantly obvious omission was caught by the Media Research Center’s Newsbusters website on Sunday, when longtime CBS reporter and the network’s chief legal correspondent, Jan Crawford, dared to bring up concerns about children’s mental health amid the so-called pandemic during a segment on “Face the Nation.”

The clip immediately went viral and no wonder. This is a major issue that most Americans should be highly concerned about. As MCR discovered, however, Crawford’s comments were edited out and not aired on the program. They can only be seen on social media videos and on the YouTube video of the full segment and read in a CBS transcript of the show.

There are some reporters at the dishonest media outlets that want to talk about the truth. The networks just won’t allow it.

In the deleted clip, host Margaret Brennan asked Crawford, who was part of the show’s year-end reporter roundtable, what her pick for the most underreported story of the year was.

Crawford, a reporter and mother, replied that “my kids hear me rant about this every day, so I might as well tell you guys,” and added, “the crushing impact that our COVID policies have had on young kids and children.”

She went on to point out that children are “by far the least serious risk for serious illness,” and explained that “even teenagers, you know, a healthy teenager has a one in a million chance of getting and dying from COVID, which is way lower than, you know, dying in a car wreck on a road trip.”

“But they have suffered and sacrificed the most, especially kids and underrepresented at-risk communities,” she said.

She further noted that US Surgeon General Vivek Murthy recently brought attention to a troubling youth mental health crisis as suicide rates have risen and children, particularly at-risk communities, are suffering.

“The risk of suicide, girl suicide attempts among girls now up 51 percent this year, black kids nearly twice as likely as white kids to die by suicide. I mean, school closures, lockdowns, cancellation of sports. You couldn’t even go on a playground in the D.C. area without cops scurrying — getting — shooing the kids off,” she explained.

“Tremendous negative impact on kids, and it’s been an afterthought. You know, it’s hurt their dreams, their future learning, loss, risk of abuse, their mental health. And now, with our knowledge, our vaccines. If our policies don’t reflect a more measured and reasonable approach for our children, they will be paying for our generation’s decisions, the rest of their lives. And that, to me, is the greatest underreported story of the past year.”

Naturally, her colleagues nodded in agreement and Brennan noted, “Well said and frightening,” before moving on to reporter David Martin who asserted that his pick was going to seem “paltry” in comparison before revealing it was the space arms race.

Newsbusters’ Curtis Houck, however, revealed in a Twitter thread that CBS aired “Face the Nation” on Sunday minus the whole segment despite the fact that it was going viral on social media.

Just another example of the mainstream media keeping the truth under wraps. It’s more important for children and their parents to live in fear of a virus they are at virtually no risk of dying from than it is to worry about their mental health.

As a matter of fact, mental health has been on the back burner in America for decades and it’s really starting to show.
