$2 Billion in Taxpayer Funds Traced Back to Stacey Abrams-Linked Group Has Been Unearthed!
In a disturbing revelation, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has uncovered a $2 billion taxpayer-funded grant earmarked for a “so-called’ fledgling nonprofit linked to Democratic activist and former Georgia gubernatorial candidate, of all people, Stacey Abrams.
Who received this staggering sum of $2 billion? A newly formed nonprofit, with no operational history and only $100 in its first few months of business! Power Forward Communities received the grant in April 2024 and was waiting for its check in the mail!
EPA administrator Lee Zeldin announced on February 13 that his team and DOGE officials discovered the funds had been parked at an outside and unnamed financial institution. Since the financial institution was outside of the government’s balance sheet, it was off the radar, thereby restraining government oversight and inhibiting the ability of the Trump administration to recover the funds and not only that the funds could already be gone!
Power Forward Communities is an initiative led by Rewiring America, a left-wing advocacy group. Notably, Stacey Abrams serves as senior counsel for Rewiring America and was instrumental in launching Power Forward Communities. She publicly expressed eagerness for the initiative, stating, “This is how we expand access to clean energy—by prioritizing housing, equity, and resilience.” But she failed to mention her role, salary, or her interest in the linked organizations. Ops!
Critics say that the group’s sudden creation and easy access to huge sums of taxpayer money show a political attempt to grab money, in the name of Climate Change.
The Green Piggy Bank Has Been Broken! EPA chief Lee Zeldin and Republican lawmakers have long expressed concerns the Inflation Reduction Act’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund—a $20 billion program designed to function as a “green piggy bank”—was created to funnel gigantic volumes of taxpayer dollars to Democrat-aligned activist groups. The Power Forward Communities grant appears to confirm these fears.
The facts speak louder than words! Daniel Turner, the executive director of Power the Future, expressed his disapproval of the grant: “Receiving a $2 billion grant for an organization that lacks experience, is recently established, and only has $100 in its bank account is blatantly fraudulent.”
Notably, both Randi Weingarten, AFT president, and Stacey Abrams serve on the national advisory board for Climate Power, which launched a $55 million ad campaign in support of Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign in September.

America was kept in the dark, and it appears no disclosure was made when a last-minute ploy by the Biden administration made a massive deposit of $20 billion in an external Citibank account, and no one knows why, who, and where’s the money?
The quick cash transfer from Biden to an outside the government account has created legal and logistical obstacles for the Trump administration in reclaiming the funds.
“President Trump was elected with a mandate from the American people to stop the fraud and abuse by leaders who irresponsibly shoveled boatloads of cash to far-left activist groups in the name of environmental justice and climate equity, instead of serving the American people,” Zeldin stated. “Those days are over.”
