‘Far From Over’: Garland Brags Of 950 Jan. 6 Arrests, Could Double To 2,000!

(Tea Party PAC) – The Jan. 6 Capitol incursion has been used by Democrats and their partisan allies in the federal government as a means to persecute their political foes. Leftist Attorney General Merrick Garland has declared that the hunt for Trump-supporting, conservative dissidents is “far from over.”

On the two-year anniversary of the Jan. 6 events, Garland announced that more than 950 Americans have been arrested for their involvement and that there are more arrests to come as he asserted “our work is far from over.”

“Two years ago, the United States Capitol was attacked as lawmakers met to affirm the results of a presidential election. Perpetrators attacked police officers, targeted and assaulted members of the media, and interfered with a fundamental element of our democracy: the peaceful transfer of power from one administration to the next,” said Garland in the statement. “Since then, countless agents, investigators, prosecutors, analysts, and others across the Justice Department have participated in one of the largest, most complex, and most resource-intensive investigations in our history.”

“I am extremely grateful for the dedication, professionalism, and integrity with which they have done this work. This investigation has resulted in the arrest of more than 950 defendants for their alleged roles in the attack. We have secured convictions for a wide range of criminal conduct on January 6 as well as in the days and weeks leading up to the attack. Our work is far from over,” he remarked.

Hunting down, arresting and convicting these so-called “criminals” appears to be the only work the Justice Department has been doing. They certainly aren’t bothered by the myriad of evidence against Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

Nonetheless, the DOJ is dedicated to continuing this “works” “for years,” as reported by journalist Julie Kelly, who has been a critic of the January 6 prosecutions and the charade congressional panel. She revealed in a tweet last week that an FBI official warned the investigation will continue “for years” to come. She stated that the US Attorney in Washington DC, Matthew Graves, has suggested the “total number of [J6] defendants could reach 2,000—twice the number currently charged.”

The Jan. 6 investigation and the subsequent arrests and charges are unprecedented. Democrats have used the situation as an opportunity to demonize President Trump and his supporters with the “insurrection” narrative they don’t seem too eager to drop anytime soon. This, of course, is despite the fact that no one has actually been charged with “insurrection.” Prominent Democrats, such as Kamala Harris, have even gone as far as to absurdly liken the Jan. 6 events to Pearl Harbor and 9/11.

Meanwhile, conservatives maintain that the investigation itself is the actual threat to democracy as it’s become clear the goal is to punish Trump supporters and make it impossible for Trump to run again for the presidency in 2024, which he has already declared he’s doing.

Then there’s the issue that federal agents are suspected to have played a major role in the Jan. 6 events. This has led to some conservatives to refer to the day as the “Fedsurrection” while Kelly calls it a “staged insurrection.” One big red flag is the fact that the DOJ is hell-bent on prosecuting those involved but have conveniently turned a blind eye to those on the left side of the aisle.

One glaring example of this is the non-prosecution of a man named Ray Epps who has been infamously caught in videos taken by those at the Capitol on Jan. 6 attempting to whip up Trump-supporters to “go into the Capitol.” In some of the videos Epps is called out as being a “fed” by a crowd of marchers because of his blatant, over-the-top efforts to get others to storm the Capitol building.

Epps has been labeled a “fed-protected provocateur” by one conservative news site and was once on the FBI’s most-wanted list for his role in Jan. 6. He was, however, quietly removed and remains free while other Jan. 6 defendants have been sitting in jail enduring abuse and neglect at the hands of federal law enforcement agents and left with exorbitant legal fees all for walking into the Capitol, many of whom were let in by Capitol Police officers.

The entire thing is a charade and Merrick Garland has promised it’s not coming to an end anytime soon. At least not until Republicans step up and intervene.

  1. AND INTERVENE WE WILL Mr AG Garland. Which will be adding your bony ass to the prosecution list. This is nothing more than political revenge, a get even thing against Trump. Again these people have this erroneous utopian notion that they are “main-stream” America and they deserve to be totally respected and adored. They would like nothing more than to be in office for life. But…Mr. Garland and Wray have another think coming to them. Investigations, hopefully prosecutions, and hopefully Gitmo for several years to come.
