(Tea Party PAC) – The first anniversary of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot ordeal has come and gone and the radical left behaved exactly how we anticipated. They carried on as if Jan. 6 is now a day living in infamy on the same level as Pearl Harbor and Sept. 11.
For the last year, the left has been desperately using the Jan. 6 incident as a means to continue their demonization of President Trump and his supporters. They’ve used it as justification for the dozens of political prisoners being held in federal prisons.
They’ve pretended as if it was Trump supporters on that day that threatened our very democracy, our way of life, and our ideals despite it, ironically, being them that are the real threats to the US especially with the usurper Biden in the White House.
Naturally, the Biden regime was compelled to make remarks in regards to the Jan. 6 incident and who better to kick those off than the most unlikeable, phony vice president in US history, Kamala Harris.
Her comments were inappropriate and disgusting and listening to her rattle on in her pseudo-serious tone is both cringe-inducing and nauseating.
“Certain dates echo throughout history, including dates that instantly remind all who have lived through them where they were and what they were doing when our democracy came under assault. Dates that occupy not only a place on our calendars, but a place in our collective memory. Dec. 7, 1941. Sept. 11, 2001. And Jan. 6, 2021,” Harris began her address from the Capitol on Thursday.
Just for a quick comparison. On Dec. 7, 1941, the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, which resulted in the loss of 2,403 American lives and was the catalyst that sent the US into World War II, where over 416,000 American soldiers were killed.
On Sept. 11, 2001, the terrorist organization al-Qaida sent two airplanes into the World Trade Center in New York City, killing 2,977 innocent Americans and injured more than 6,000. They also attacked the Pentagon and had another plane traveling towards Washington DC that was taken down by the passengers outside of Somerset, Pennsylvania, killing everyone on board.
The 9/11 attack also resulted in the US launching the American War on Terror which further claimed the lives of more than 7,000 American soldiers.
Now, take these truly horrific and tragic events and compare them with the Jan. 6 so-called “insurrection.” On Jan. 6, 2021, hundreds of thousands of Trump supporters descended on Washington DC to hear President Trump speak. These Americans had (and still have) genuine concerns over the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election and were expressing their constitutionally protected right to protest.
This massive group of patriots was then set-up at the Capitol when an orchestrated and staged “riot” began. The death toll from this event is still a matter of debate except for one death, that of US Army Veteran Ashli Babbitt, who was murdered by a Capitol Police Officer while she was inside the complex, unarmed.
A bipartisan Senate report has concluded that there were seven other deaths related to the Jan. 6 ordeal though several of them died of natural causes and the others are a stretch to attribute to the riot.
Nonetheless, the Jan. 6 event is not even remotely close to as grave, consequential and deadly as Pearl Harbor and 9/11 yet Harris shamelessly uses them to make Jan. 6 out to be something that it was not.
Harris lamented that those who breached the Capitol were “extremists” who were looking to destroy lives and democracy.
“What the extremists who roamed these halls targeted was not only the lives of elected leaders. What they sought to degrade and destroy was not only a building, hallowed as it is,” Harris said. “What they were assaulting were the institutions, the values, the ideals that generations of Americans have marched, picketed and shed blood to establish and defend.”
Those on Twitter did not take too kindly to Harris’ comments and her out of touch, insulting comparisons to 9/11 and Pearl Harbor. Many users called the comments “disgusting” and “ridiculous” and indeed they were.

Kamala harris referencing 9/11 and today being equal is disgusting.

This is as bad as false valor. Those deaths of 9/11, 12/7 were reprehensible. 1/6 in comparison is ridiculous!

Harris closed her remarks on Thursday by questioning how the events of last year would go down in history.
“How will Jan. 6 come to be remembered in the years ahead? Will it be remembered as a moment that accelerated the unraveling of the oldest, greatest democracy in the world, or a moment when we decided to secure and strengthen our democracy for generations to come,” Harris said. “The American spirit is being tested.”
The American spirit has been shattered by the Biden regime and the stolen election. It’s up to us, the American people, to take back our country from this fraudulent regime.
What brazen politicization of January 6 by President Biden.
I wonder if the Taliban who now rule Afghanistan with al-Qaeda elements present, contrary to President Biden’s beliefs, are allowing this speech to be carried?

I still cannot believe a mob was able to take over the United States Capitol during such a pivotal moment – certifying a presidential election.
It would have been so easy for terrorists to boot strap onto this protest and wreak even further destruction on the U.S. Capitol.

Regardless of the reason for the assault on the Capitol, to lose control in such a fashion twenty years after 9/11 is stunning.

Those who defiled the Capitol on January 6 are being prosecuted, as they should be.
I have consistently condemned the attack and have urged that those involved be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

I hold the same views of those who attacked the federal courthouse in Portland, Oregon and committed other acts of violence throughout our nation.

Those responsible for Capitol security including our political leaders must also be held accountable.
We still do not know who planted pipe bombs on Capitol Hill the night of Jan 5. We still do not know why our Capitol was not adequately defended before President Trump spoke.

We owe a great debt of gratitude and appreciation to the Capitol Police officers who bravely risked their lives to protect the Capitol.
They were placed in a terrible position, without adequate reinforcements, but did their best to protect an overwhelmed Capitol.
— Lindsey Graham (@LindseyGrahamSC) January 6, 2022
Finally, President Biden and Vice President Harris’s speeches today were an effort to resurrect a failed presidency more than marking the anniversary of a dark day in American history.
— Lindsey Graham (@LindseyGrahamSC) January 6, 2022
Their brazen attempts to use January 6 to support radical election reform and changing the rules of the Senate to accomplish this goal, will not succeed.
— Lindsey Graham (@LindseyGrahamSC) January 6, 2022
The so-called voting rights acts they are pushing are a liberal Democrat federal takeover of our election systems which constitutionally reside with the states.
— Lindsey Graham (@LindseyGrahamSC) January 6, 2022
The Biden Presidency, one year after January 6, is in free fall not because of the attack on our Capitol, but because of failed policies and weak leadership.
