Which fear will America choose off the Democrat menu?
Russiagate? Destruction of Democracy, Race Wars, Climate Change, a.k.a. Global Warming, Rich not paying their fair share, Toxic males, white supremacy, and destroying Medicare, Elon Musk is a Nazi, abolishing women’s rights, discrimination against transsexuals, Trump keeping nuclear launch codes at Mar-a-Lago, xenophobes closing the borders, gay rights under attack, rich oil companies stealing, death by Covid, and the list goes on.
For years, the Democratic Party’s most powerful political weapon has been fear. The fear stems from the potential for economic collapse. The fear stems from the opposing party. The fear stems from the potential impact of climate change. Fear of Trump. Fear that the world would end if they didn’t win the next election.
But here’s the thing: Americans are no longer buying it. Does that old song still play? Their song is nothing more than a broken record. The fear machine that once whipped the public into a frenzy has lost its edge because the people now realize something uncomfortable: they’ve been scammed.
Take a look at the recent ‘Trump Tariff’ panic. For three days straight, the media unleashed a firestorm:
- Stocks are cratering!
- The economy is doomed!
- Recession or maybe even depression!
- You might lose your home!
This kind of media barrage isn’t new. It’s part of their script and a ‘cooked-up crisis,’ amplifying the anxiety and using it to steer public opinion. The media, in its symbiotic relationship with establishment politics, contributes like an orchestra, building to a dramatic crescendo.
But after years of this relentless drumbeat of fear, more Americans are saying, “Wait a minute.” They remember the fear narratives around COVID, around Russia, around climate, and around the 2016 and 2020 elections. And they’re starting to see the pattern.
Now, the Left has a new cause! Trump tariffs are killing democracy’! Let’s be honest: President Trump’s aggressive push for trade fairness wasn’t smooth. “Liberation Day” was when every American felt a jolt, at least temporarily. But does discomfort mean the idea is wrong?
Will spendaholics experience withdrawal when their finances tighten and their cash flow decreases? Absolutely, and this clearly shows how deep the spendaholics madness has penetrated, all the way down to believing ‘the end is near’ because they can’t buy a new Mercedes since German tariffs are outrageous.
Trump’s push for reciprocal tariffs is based on a legitimate gripe: America has gotten the short end of the trade for far too long! Countries lockout U.S. goods while enjoying open access to our markets. Fixing that imbalance is hard, messy, and guaranteed to upset powerful global interests.
Being “right” has never been easy. The real panic is happening in Washington and on the evening news, but not on Main Street.
The irony? It’s not average Americans panicking the most. It’s Washington elites, career politicians, fear-spinning newscasters, and global market speculators who fear Trump’s trade moves might actually work. The D.C. establishment has long preferred stability even if it means American degradation.
But Trump isn’t playing by their rules. He’s banking on realigning trade in America’s favor, even if it means short-term pain for long-term gain. That ‘gamble’ terrifies the entrenched power structures who’ve built their fortunes off the old, lopsided system.
But why isn’t fear mongering working anymore? Isn’t it still the go-to weapon of the left and their media allies? Yes, but its impact is fading.
Why? Fear only works when people trust the messenger!
After years of being told the sky is falling only to watch the sun rise the next day, Americans have become skeptical. They’ve seen the media lie. They’ve watched politicians promise relief and deliver nothing. They’ve endured manufactured crises that mysteriously vanish after election day.
The American people are waking up. They’re seeing through the smokescreen. And they’re sick of being manipulated.
Then there are the nationwide Democrat rallies! What is the message of these rallies? Are they against deporting gang members who have committed murder? Against DOGE finding and recovering hundreds of billions of wasteful tax dollars, against the EU asking if America wants NO tariffs ‘from and to’ Europe? Are they against the need to secure the borders? Are they against peace in Gaza, Ukraine, or stopping Russia? Are they opposed to bringing trillions of dollars and industries back to America?
NO! They are against bravery in the face of their empty fear mongering; that’s it!
Make no mistake, Trump’s path forward is risky. Trade wars aren’t clean. Global allies are scarce. And yes, the economy could wobble in the short term. But revolutions rarely come with comfort. He’ll need to show daily progress, communicate clearly, and weather the storm.
What are we going to do? Don’t panic. The left wants you to do that while they rattle their bag of dried bones and spin their verbal poison. So, relax, stay informed, think critically, and tune out the noise.
