MUST-SEE: Analyst At Network Founded By Billionaire Melts Down About Musk

(Tea Party PAC) – According to CNN contributor David Zurawik on the Sunday edition of the “Reliable Sources” program, there is no greater evil in the world than that of billionaires. Zurawik seems to think these individuals who have a lot more money than he does are the very essence of pure, unadulterated wickedness and they have to be stopped. After all, they control what you think!

Well, you know, maybe we don’t need to stop every single billionaire.

According to The Western Journal, Zurawik, who works as a professor of media studies at Goucher College, only had one specific billionaire in mind. Any guesses who it is?

If you said Elon Musk, the new owner of social media giant Twitter, then you’d be 100 percent correct.

Zurawik thinks Musk is guilty of wrongthink for daring to desire freedom of speech.

“Platforms like Twitter should be regulated like Western European countries regulate speech in their nations, Zurawik claimed,” the report said.

“He listed prior congressional efforts at information control, including The Radio Act of 1927 and the Communications Act of 1934, regulating radio. He also erroneously expanded the long-recognized theory of public ownership of the radio spectrum to include the internet,” the Western Journal said.

“Doesn’t Zurawik realize that our First Amendment — which Western European and other countries don’t have — prohibits Congress from regulating speech, especially political speech? And did anyone remind Zurawik that CNN was founded by partisan, belligerently anti-Christian billionaire Ted Turner?” the Western Journal continued.

A fact conveniently ignored. Sounds typical.

Does the professor also know that Jeff Bezos, the billionaire founder of Amazon, also owns the Washington Post?

Send a Thankyou

“True, he criticized billionaire Zuckerberg for allowing Facebook to interfere in a presidential election. But he made no mention of Zuckerberg swinging thousands of votes for Biden in 2020; rather, he accused him in 2016 of ‘taking rubles for ads from Russia,’ an apparent reference to the debunked accusations of Russian interference resulting in the election of former President Donald Trump.”

“Zurawik — like so many on the left — are livid that Musk has broken the near-monopoly over free expression exercised by major internet platforms, broadcast and cable news and by declining print media,” the WJ said.

“Despite censorship of scientific evidence and dissident American speakers and politicians, coupled with White House efforts to sic the law enforcement efforts of the Department of Homeland Security on information it doesn’t like, reaction to the purchase by the libertarian-leaning Musk has been bombastic,” the report added.

Boy, this takeover of Twitter and its impending liberation from censorship really has the left freaking out. This is how badly they wanted their political opposition to be silenced. They do not believe there is any room for dissidence in their worldview. Either you are with them or against them.

Since they want to destroy our nation, the vast majority of us are against them. That’s a no-brainer.

Zurawik went on to say that Musk was a lot like Zuckerberg in that he had issues with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission concerning an ill-fated earlier attempt to purchase Twitter.

“This is dangerous,” Zurawik warned. “We can’t think anymore in this country … we don’t have people in Congress who can make regulations — that can make it work. I think we can look to the Western countries in Europe for how they are trying to limit it, but you need — you need! — controls on this. You need regulation.”

“You cannot let these guys control discourse in this country or we are headed to hell,” he proclaimed with typical left-wing gloom-and-doom. “We are there. Trump opened the gates of hell and now we’re there.”

“Regarding U.S. regulation of communication, the Radio Act of 1927, as indicated by Zurawik, declared public ownership of the airwaves,” the report said.

“There has been some talk but no formal declaration of the internet as a common carrier like a phone company, but there is nothing similar to public ownership like that of the radio spectrum as Zurawik implied,” WJ said in its report.

Thankfully, as of now, the First Amendment remains fully intact and is the law of the land. This amendment protects our freedom of speech from the government and potential interference they might attempt to run in order to silence people from expressing contrary ideas to the current government.
