MUST-SEE: Gabbard Unleashes On Romney

(Tea Party PAC) – Perhaps worse than the Democrats themselves are the RINOs serving in Congress who only serve to further the left’s radical agenda, knowingly or not.

Sen. Mitt Romney (Utah) had the audacity to call former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard a “treasonous” liar after she voiced concerns over US biolabs in Ukraine being breached and dangerous pathogens being released onto the people of the world.

Gabbard, however, did not shrink into a corner. She stood her ground and called Romney out for his absurd and outlandish accusations, then demanded he apologize and resign.

Gabbard, a former House Rep. from Hawaii, has made a reputation for herself as being one of the very few level-headed, sane Democrats in America. She’s certainly not a conservative but she refuses to submit to the left’s required group-think and blind obedience.

The left hates free-thinkers like Gabbard and apparently so do RINOs like Romney.

After she posted a video to Twitter last week in which she expressed concern over a large number of US-funded facilities “conducting research on dangerous pathogens” in Ukraine, and called for them to be shut down, Romney went on the attack.

Her concerns are legitimate and her solution is reasonable and could very well save lives. She pointed out, “… in order to protect the American people — the people of Europe, the people around the world — these labs need to be shut down immediately. And the pathogens that they hold need to be destroyed.”

She also noted that these pathogens could be “inadvertently or purposely breached or compromised” which could cause them to spread quickly through Europe and the rest of the world.

If you thought COVID was bad, this could be a real disaster. The only logical thing to do would be to destroy the pathogens in these labs but the world is way past logical thinking at this point.

In any event, Romney slammed Gabbard for expressing these concerns and called her “treasonous,” claiming on Twitter: “Tulsi Gabbard is parroting false Russian propaganda. Her treasonous lies may well cost lives.”

Gabbard didn’t waste any time putting Romney in his place and immediately defended herself against the accusation that she is serving Putin and spreading “propaganda.” In a long Twitter feed Monday night, she slammed Romney for failing to offer any proof to support his claims.

Send a Thankyou

“Mitt Romney, you have called me a ‘treasonous liar’ for stating the fact that ‘there are 25+ US-funded biolabs in Ukraine which if breached would release & spread deadly pathogens to US/world’ and therefore must be secured in order to prevent new pandemics,” Gabbard tweeted.

“Bizarrely, you claim that securing these labs (or even calling for securing these labs) is treasonous and will lead to a loss of life, when the exact opposite is obviously true. The spread of pathogens is what will cause the loss of life, not the prevention of such spread.”

“Senator Romney, please provide evidence that what I said is untrue and treasonous. If you cannot, you should do the honorable thing: apologize and resign from the Senate,” she said. “Evidence of the existence of such biolabs, their vulnerability, and thus the need to take immediate action to secure them is beyond dispute.”

She offered the following evidence in a series of tweets before closing with: “So, Senator Romney, you have a choice: out of pride, continue to deny the truth or admit you are wrong, apologize, and resign. Aloha. And remember that without the truth, we can be neither safe nor free.”

Here is her full Twitter thread:

It’s both comical and absurd that Romney would use the term “treasonous” to describe Gabbard’s concerns.

The fact remains that Gabbard’s concerns are, in fact, legitimate and it’s something all of us should be concerned with too.

It’s most definitely NOT propaganda, The US Defense Department recently admitted that the US has spent at least $200 million on Ukrainian labs:

“A few key points about the Department of Defense’s Cooperative Threat Reduction Program Biological Threat Reduction Program activities in Ukraine this is part of the Department of Defense’s Cooperative Threat Reduction Program. Through that program, we have invested approximately $200 million in Ukraine since 2005, supporting 46 Ukrainian labs, health facilities, and diagnostic sites. DOD’s CTR program began its biological work with Ukraine to eliminate the remnants of the Soviet Union’s illegal biological weapons program left in the Soviet successor states after the USSR fell. There are no DOD bioweapon labs in Ukraine or anywhere else in the world.”

The American people, at the very least, have a right to know what dangerous pathogens are being kept in these labs that we’ve been funding.

The Ukraine-Russia conflict just keeps getting more and more dangerous by the day.
