(Tea Party PAC) – A new report from The Western Journal revealed that President Donald Trump recently discussed how he would have handled the situation between Russia and Ukraine if he were still in the White House today during an interview he gave with Clay Travis and Buck Sexton from his Mar-a-Lago property in Florida.
During the conversation, Trump pointed to his relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin as one of the tools he would have used to help stop him from encroaching on Ukraine.
Putin has now recognized two regions of Ukraine as independent countries, issuing an order for Russian military personnel into both Donetsk and Luhansk.
Joe Biden has proven he is not up to the task of deterring Russian aggression toward Ukraine, with a batch of new sanctions and negotiations doing nothing to de-escalate the situation.
However, despite the good relationship between the two, Trump insisted that he would have absolutely drawn a line at Putin’s territorial ambitions.
He then summed up his stance against the maneuvering being done by Putin in just four words.
“I knew that he always wanted Ukraine. I used to talk to him about it. I said, ‘You can’t do it. You’re not gonna do it,'” Trump said.
“Putin moved to acquire territory during the tenure of President Barack Obama as well, largely forgoing aggression during Trump’s presidency. Trump said the current situation never would’ve amounted to a full-blown crisis if he were still in office,” the WJ report said.
“This never would have happened with us. Had I been in office, not even thinkable. This would never have happened,” Trump continued.
“The 45th president described Putin’s decision to call Russian troops entering Ukraine ‘peacekeepers’ as ‘genius,’ suggesting he’d consider a similar strategy to secure the southern U.S. border,” the report stated.
“So Putin is now saying, ‘It’s independent,’ a large section of Ukraine. I said, ‘How smart is that?’ And he’s gonna go in and be a peacekeeper,” Trump went on to say of Putin’s plan. “We could use that on our southern border.”
He then stated he would rather send our troops to the southern border than over to Ukraine.
Trump himself isn’t the only one who is wondering why Putin never tried to take these measures while he was in office.
NBC’s Chuck Todd recently asked Secretary of State Antony Blinken during an interview why Putin didn’t try to invade Ukraine while Trump was in office.
“[The] previous one. Why do you think [Putin] didn’t act then?” Chuck Todd asked the secretary of state during an interview on “Meet the Press.”
“I hope you get a chance to ask him,” Blinken went on to say as he fumbled around trying to get his answer to the question out.
When even folks on the left in the media start asking these kind of questions, you know that Biden has screwed up royally. They usually never break away from their role as propagandists for the Democratic Party in order to do their actual jobs as journalists and pursue the truth.
Shocking, right?

A Russian invasion is now virtually certain once the ground freezes, Biden said to Zelensky, a senior Ukrainian official told @mchancecnn. Kyiv could be “sacked," Russian forces may attempt to occupy it, “prepare for impact”, Biden said, according to this official.

We want to remind the great powers that there are no minor incursions and small nations. Just as there are no minor casualties and little grief from the loss of loved ones. I say this as the President of a great power ??

Stunning.
Senate Dems, literally, on the Russian payroll.
Every one of them needs to (1) return the $$, (2) apologize, & (3) vote to sanction Nord Stream 2 and deny Putin the billions of $$ annually that Biden is trying to give him.#BidenPutinPipeline https://t.co/X0YUnCbooO
