JUST IN: Suspect In Kavanaugh Assassination Attempt Identified

(Tea Party PAC) – On Wednesday, an armed unhinged man arrived in the neighborhood of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh with the intention of assassinating him. Now the wanna-be assailant has been identified and is facing a federal charge of attempted murder against a Supreme Court justice.

According to a Department of Justice news release, the suspect has been identified as 26-year-old Nicholas John Roske. Previous reports named Kavanaugh as his target.

Court documents reveal that Roske arrived in a cab outside of Kavanaugh’s Maryland home just after 1 am on Wednesday.

Roske was armed with a Glock handgun with two magazines, a knife, a hammer, crowbar, pepper spray and other equipment. He was seen by two deputy US Marshals on the scene at which time he then walked down the street from Kavanaugh’s home.

The entire scheme was brought to a halt, however, when Roske himself made a call to 911 and explained his plot to local law enforcement.

After he was taken into custody by police, Roske said he was troubled by the recent school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, as well as the leaked SCOTUS draft opinion regarding Roe v Wade. He explained that he targeted Kavanaugh because he believed the justice would take the side of protecting the Second Amendment.

According to the criminal complaint, Roske alleged that his intention was to “give his life a purpose” by murdering Kavanaugh and also revealed that he had planned to kill himself after the deed was done.

Roske was expected to appear in federal court on Wednesday and if convicted could face up to 20 years in prison.

There is not much known about Roske. A LinkedIn account belonging to a Nicholas Roske identifies him as an employee of a pest control company in Simi Valley, California. His presence on social media, however, is scant.

Kavanaugh’s home has already been targeted by zealous pro-abortion activists, some of whom took it upon themselves to put his address on in the internet for other crazy people to have.

Despite the fact that Attorney General Merrick Garland hasn’t done a whole lot of condemning protesters who show up at the homes of SCOTUS justices, he did immediately condemn Roske’s actions and insisted he would use his powers to guarantee the safety of Kavanaugh and his fellow justices.

“This kind of behavior is obviously behavior that we will not tolerate,” he said, according to CNBC.

“Threats of violence and actual violence against the justices of course strike at the heart of our democracy, and we will do everything we can to prevent them and hold the people who do them accountable for that reason.”

Of course, Garland has to say that now that Roske’s attempt failed. It will be interesting to follow this case and see what kind of punishment Roske receives.

Threatening, intimidating and plotting to assassinate members of the Supreme Court must absolutely not be tolerated in this country. It just goes to show how utterly mentally and emotionally unstable those on the far left truly are.
